The NRA is not politically biased, the main stream media is. Lead is a naturally occurring element and less expensive than alternatives for bullets and sinkers.

The price and restrictions to enjoy shooting and fishing in this country have gone way beyond "reasonable" to the point of asininity. The media, coupled with the "enviromindless" and anti sportsmen/gun owner groups have done an admirable job to demonize a tradition that started with a need centuries ago and remains one today, either for food, sport or wildlife management.

Your steak wasn't grown on a styrofoam platter and game has less fat!

But lest not forget the underlying goal is to disarm our citizens either through firearms or the ammunition to make it functional so as to control us.

The government is out for control of everything. The health bill was jammed down our throats and now poses higher costs for everything medical no matter what insurance you have.

Income taxes are going up in January, by at least 4% probably as high as 9%.

Now they are also proposing a 1% transaction tax for every time you put money in or take money out of you bank accounts. Once a law is in place for something like this, the percent can be raised at the governments discretion. I don't care for that kind of tax to be under the governments control.

They will do whatever they can to control ALL aspects of our lives. We need to do whatever is necessary to stop the ram rod efforts to make us subjects in a dictatorship.

If we don't stand up now and voice our opinions and vote out the people trying to destroy us, we only have ourselves to blame

Control is in the Texas Constitution Folks. "Sec. 23. RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS. Every citizen shall have the right to keep and bear arms in the lawful defense of himself or the State; but the Legislature shall have power, by law, to regulate the wearing of arms, with a view to prevent crime."

I am so sick and tired of any kind of government control. The government and the news media are doing their best to turn this nation into a nation of wimps and cry babies.

Using a govern. agency such as EPA to control Arms is a not for the sake of the eagles tail feathers. Obama & his comrades are only concerned for their's.

What does 'clogged up with guns' mean?

Comparing the NRA to a terrorist organization is clearly false but takes lying to the next level and beyond.

Please urge anyone you know who has been threatened by the NRA to make an immediate report to law enforcement authorities. This has never happened so it will be an exceptionally sensational and newsworthy story.

Please re-read the 2nd amendment and then read anything from the NRA. They are all about the 2nd amendment but ONLY that. They are not into anything else.

Perhaps by actually reading some NRA material you might also notice they do support gun control but provide thoughtful well reasoned logical analysis without emotional outbursts, unlike your hate-filled lying diatribe, obviously produced by a very disturbed mind.

Now I will become a NRA life member instead of a standard one. Now where's my checkbook!

With all the things that those tree huggers should be worried about, a little lead from gun owners is so far down on the list of real problems in this nation. I have owned weapons since I was a child and never used them for anything except hunting and target shooting and for anyone to try and convince me that there is enough shooting going on that wildlife is dying because of it is ridiculous. Every day I drive home from work I see dead cats, dogs, squirrels, and many other like Racoons, etc on the roads where we run over the animals and drive on. Flatten them out real good by driving over and over them. Should we then outlaw cars for the same reasons? I can gaurantee you that more wildlife is killed by autos each year than lead poisoning. :)

The NRA and it's members are so clogged up with their guns, they do not see the effects of what they are endorsing. The NRA is the closest thing to a terrorist organization we have in this country. They threaten anyone who does not support their objectives. It has nothing to do with the 2nd Amendment, but plenty to do with power and money. It's time our politicians and Americans get some courage and fight against this corrupt organization. The NRA cares nothing about our environment and country. Bunch of rich fat cats blowing smoke.
