I thought mine was authentic. :-( I also received the same letter dated 12/21 thanking me for my help in getting him re-elected. I will still treasure the letter although apparently I am not as special as I thought I was. It's still very cool.

I got one too - same date, handwritten on same stationery. I'd say it's good autopen work since they had to change the name at the top.

I have a handwritten letter from Pres. George W Bush thanking me for my help in getting him reelected in 2004. It is written on President George W. Bush letterhead stationary and was written on December 21, 2004. This is a rather lengthy letter and uses nearly the entire piece of stationary. I must say his penmanship is not the best but is a very sincere and nice letter.

Would this letter be of value and where could get more information on this?

I wonder if anyone's seen a George W. Bush handwritten letter?

There was an NYT piece about presidential handwriting last year that was fascinating - they analyzed presidential doodles too. But if Bush writes anything like he speaks, his letters must be hysterical. I'd pay to see that....
