CNN's Wolf Blitzer Celebrates 20 Years

You're my touchstone in the news, Wolf. Good to see a Hometown Boy in the Situation Room.I am curious what High School you went to. Both I & my (now deceased) husband attended Grammar & High School there: Hutchinson Technical for him; Lafayette for me. We both graduated from the University of Buffalo, & he joined the old Cornell Aeronautical Lab. His last job was at Lockheed Martin .as Principle Systems Eng'r. What I considered unusual about this Ukrainian, who had grown up in Venezuela, so he was always an "outsider", was that he rejected the idea of hanging out with other kids in the Ukrainian group, or gang .... because they told him they would "back him up" ; even FIGHT for him ... just because he was a Ukrainian, of that descent. He asked them whether they would still stand behind him if he was in the wrong, or a bad bastard? .. & they said : Yes! He said that was just like backing Stalin or Hitler .... so he quickly quit that group. ... Me? I'm half Italian, half Conglomeranian.
