Rob Portman's Ohio Senate Fundraising Shocker

As a life-long Democrat, I have to give this race some serious attention. Fisher, naturally, has my initial support, but I am a bit wary of him. He seems to be the type who has nothing but political ambition to go higher and higher on the political ladder, without any real concerns about how to better Ohio as a result. On the other hand, Portman is one who's business connections give me pause.

Another Corporate Lackey and potential Bankster just as Fisher would be!

Having known Rob Portman for over 36 years and worked for his father and brother, I would say that I have never known of a man in politics with a higher level of personal integrity and honesty. All you foolish liberals who proclaim that he is in someone's pocket need to look at the average amount of contribution to his campaign so you will see that he is not being financed by fat-cats. Lee Fisher's sophomoric accusation that Rob somehow had a hand in the creation of the budget deficits we now experience only shows the desperation of this lame liberal who has no answers to the problems we face, only meaningless finger-pointing. Ohioans are not that so stupid as to believe you, Lee.

whom will he serve ????????????

will he serve the citizens of America or Corporate Internationalist intrests ?????????????

He does not hear the voice of those who can't buy "FREE SPEECH"

with contributions to his campaign. He will only hear the voice of large money intrests.

WHOM WILL HE SERVE?????????????????????

Do you still believe that campaign donations are not a form of Free Speech? Just remember that these donations were voluntary, and only the current democ-rat run Congress simply takes money away from taxpayers.

$3.2 million in the bank, a combination of $1.4 million left over from his House days and a whopping $1.7 million raised in the first quarter of the year. That's a big take.

Yeah and there are big strings attached to that money. Jefferson warned " Lest they be bought and sold at market"

Besides Ohio does not fair well for the guy who voted for NAFTA, engineered and pushed CAFTA through the House. Free Trade Agreements have torn the manufacturing base right out of Ohio.

He is responsible for the loss of a whole hell of alot of Ohio JOBS.
