Is more important than Idealistic goals.

Just keep blaming the GOP. If you would step away from the kool-aide and look at the facts you would realizt that the Dems & Libs are just as much to blame as the GOP. At least the GOP is not blowing smoke up our backsides.

President Obama has found away to get $540 million:

"a proposal to force private insurance companies to pay for the treatment of military veterans who have suffered service-connected disabilities and injuries. The Obama administration recently revealed a plan to require private insurance carriers to reimburse the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in such cases.

"It became apparent during our discussion today that the President intends to move forward with this unreasonable plan," said Commander David K. Rehbein of The American Legion. "He says he is looking to generate $540-million by this method, but refused to hear arguments about the moral and government-avowed obligations that would be compromised by it."

What a great way to honor those that risk it all for this country.

The Republicans will have spasms if the recovery works for Obama...

I for one hope he succeeds. We will all be better off if he does - in more ways than one.

The GOP needs to join the rest of us in making this country a better place for everyone. Idealistic - yes. But we need a bit of that now. Enough cynnical politics and war mongering for money. Enough cynnical business dealings and scams. The GOP needs to be just as cheerful when Obama wants to spend on America as they were when Bush wanted to spend on the military and the top 5%.
