As part of his effort to guide the spending of the nearly $800 billion stimulus package, President Obama has established a Web page, www.recovery.gov, to let Americans see where their tax dollars are going. And today he announced he's put Vice President Joe Biden in charge of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Earl Devaney is responsible for keeping track of every dollar as the head of the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board. Devaney has been the inspector general of the Interior Department since 1999.

I am tired of everyone blaming the poor people the banks took advantage of while they were freely giving mortgages. Free is hardly the word. You take someone who would barley qulaify (in those days) for a loan and then they rape and pillage the poor guy who just wanted the American Dream to the point where he was set up to fail. Most of us (with good credit and payment history) couldn't afford those payments, let alone someone who really shouldn't have qualified to begin with. If they really wanted to tap that market (the subprime) they should have done it with fairness and compassion not GREED....

When Obama finished speaking today the market was down 50, and when he

introduced Biden to speak, the networks tuned out, and when Biden was

done, the market dropped 250!

Nice going Joe...what a loser!

Why did the prsident choose Obama, first as VP, and 2nd as anything.

Think of HIS connection with MBNA in DE. He is not the best person

to handle anything, as his time in the Senate has proven.

What an empty suite...
