In Obama White House, New Rules on Day One

Each potential cabinet appointee filled out a lengthy dossier outlining any potential investigation or problems that could affect their appointment. Obama reviewed each of these and choose his people. Now we find these leaders are under investigation for corruption, tax evasion, etc. and are stepping down one by one. I pay my taxes but our Treasury Secretary did not!

Congrats Obama, and count with me!!!!!

I think that holding government accountable and not allowing presents from lobbyists is an incredible step towards restoring confidence in our government. Bravo Mr. President. I think freezing government salaries is remarkable. That's the only way they can understand what the average person goes through. Well, a small sample of what we go through as they are already getting a huge salary for the most part.

I totally agree with your allowing abortion. Another alternative to it though, is to make the men responsible for their actions. How about making men give DNA samples on public record once they start having sex. That way they couldn't deny their child. If they were immediately garnisheed of their wages or removed from school to get a job to pay for the child, most women would keep the babies. Making men responsible would make them more causious about sleeping around so much. Teens wouldn't keep score of how many women they sleep with like a big bragging game. For a change make them truly responsible. Women leave school and take jobs when they get pregnant, why not men? If this law was inforced there would not be a need for welfare as often. There wouldn't be Fatherless children as often either. I know this is a hard law to pass because men do not want to be responsible. But I feel you would understand this and want to do something about it. I have read that you are for women's rights. Well this is a big one.

I already wrote and told you what a fantastic job I think you are doing, but it's worth repeating. I'm proud you are our President. After Bush anyone would look great, but you really are great, so that's a big plus. LOL

Sincerely,

Barbara Jane Cartwright

I think it's too early to say that this administration is truthful and demonstrating accountability. Let's see how truthful he is with keeping his campaign promises. So far he has all the old Clinton team in there...where's Monica???? WHAT CHANGE???

I live in california, a sta ewhere the budget is still unresolved. Our Governor urged us to cut back and sacrifice. However, he won't impose any sanctions on our government to encourage them to approve the budget! The government in Cali should lose money every day that the budget is unresloved- Obama is doing the right thing for the country! Whats up Cali?

WOW! Truth and accountability have been missing for some time in OUR government. It is refreshing to see such values honored and respected again.

..

GOOD LUCK
