ATLANTA (AP) — Lawyers for Martin Luther King Jr.'s daughter want a lawyer for her father's estate disqualified from participating in an ownership dispute over King's Bible and Nobel Peace Prize.

The slain civil rights icon's estate, controlled by his sons, is locked in a legal dispute with his daughter, the Rev. Bernice King, over ownership of the items. The estate wants to sell the items, while Bernice is opposed to the sale.

Lawyers for Bernice say estate lawyer William Hill should not be involved in the case because he was appointed by a judge to help in similar 2008 dispute and thus gives his client an unfair advantage. Hill said his only role in that case was to review documents.

Judge Robert McBurney said he'll issue a decision at a later date.
