Perez and Steinberg are the biggest spenders. But Perez says we'll fix it...... sure. By raising taxes through some backdoor action without the customary reach around. This ballot initiative bull has failed recently here. So now the threats and fear mongering. Brown and his hack marxist legislature just need to tell the unions and the entitlement lobby to pound sand.

For good.

I can't pay anymore damn taxes.

chastisement comes when a beloved son needs to learn proper behavior. punishment comes when a rebel refuses to change his ways. blessings come when leadership and the people humble themselves and behave from the heart.

JB did the same rhetoric for prop 13, "there would be no police, firemen, teachers or any type of services for poor Americans". Almost three years after prop13 they had a balance in most areas equal to their current spending balance. They will cry fire in a theater to get this tax bill passed...

You watch, if they have to cut any services, it will be to Americans and not the illegal immigrants.

The Democrats reward bad behavior and punish good....

These are after effects of those of in sacramento of 1 party (Democrats) rule. They have been living beyond the states means by handing out special favors to get people to vote for them(i.e. Unions, California Train to No Where ). Also they have elimated the "moral hazard" by making California an "sacturary state" for the millions of illegal aliens and have let someone else pickup the bill for their services they take for decades. Now no one can pickup the bill and they want want us to pickup the bill with large tax increases again so the system can accomadate even more illegals or just to keep the services illegal use up at the status quo.

Just say No To New Tax increases. Or well end up like Greece. And let the people who took the risk pay the moral hazard for comming here illegaly and not get bailed out by the state and hope fully get deported and sent back the country that should be helping them!

My wife and I were born in California, but left 3 years ago. Not only did we move, but we also moved our business out of the State.

It had become very clear to us that the Democratic Party and their leadership cared less about hard working, private sector, tax payers than they did about government employees, unions, and illegal aliens.

We're so glad we left and feel bad for older folks who can't afford to escape from California before it collapses.

California's bloated government and disastrous finances are what happens when the far left is put in charge... Think of it as the mini-me version of what America will look like if we give Obama 4 more years to continue growing both government bureaucracy and spending.

Gotta love it. When in doubt, raise taxes on the people who work hard. Hardworking folks just love carrying everyone on their backs.

California's budget plan: Keep extending unemployment compensation, keep providing safe havens for illegal immigrants, keep providing county healthcare for illegals, keep educating illegals' kids, keep raising taxes, keep raising tuition, keep paying for transgender operations for city employees.

I am glad I left California 8 years ago. What an incredibly smart move I made! :-) Hey Governor Brown, maybe you should call Governor Rick Scott of Florida for some advice on how to manage a state, and how to make tough decisions for the greater good of the citizens.

I am all for fixing California's Three Strikes Law and ending the costly Death Penalty, but until the governor cuts out waste like this! I won't vote for new taxes!

Thank God for the Depression. Get rid of the corrupt and immoral failed schools. Give vouchers to Parents to pay for private schools. Give the vouchers to those who through the franchise tax board file State Income taxes and close down the failed corrupt and immoral School system which has failed the Children and the State. Bankruptcy worked for GM and could work for California. Throw the bums out they are just sucking money out of the economy and drunk from gorging at the public trough.
