Imagine if she either stayed home that night or went to a movie instead. No, she decided to follow the other sheep to a tavern, party it up and now cry fowl because she was exposed to a camera...and yes, if you are in a bar it is YOUR responsibility to read any postings or signs within the establishment. It is not the owner of the bar nor the cameraman's responsibility to have to make sure that everyone has read and understood every single sign in the bar. And knowing that you are in a party situation with other members of your peers you have got to be quite stupid to not know that there is that possibility that someone is going to film some aspect of the rowdiness and either post it on-line or make a dvd out of it .... This isn't 1975 and Girls Gone Wild was already infamous in 2005 among college campuses...especially the party schools. I'm sure her lawsuit, that is now public, has garnered even more unwanted attention.

I'm always pretty saddened to see the comments by some people. The one by "Alaina" is the one I'm speaking of. Maybe he should take his hand out of the front of his pants and re read the damn story. "Her daddy got mad" "That skank wanted to be on GGW". Nice. Grow up skumbag.

This is a very touchy situation. In many cases these young women go out with their friends, get drunk and do something they regret the next day. The problem is they don't want to live up to what is was that they did while "intoxicated". "He raped me", "I didn't realize that is what I was really doing". Now I am a male, any mistakes I made in my early twenties stuck and I had to pay the consequences. There are many many young women who have been on the girls gone wild and done things that they wish they never had done. We cant give millions to each one. Answer me this. How is six million dollars going to make things right for her, whether she was willing or not? If she's scarred from this the scar will not heal from the money. I'm sorry but too many people try to sue someone for every little upset in their life. Well, we saw your breasts. Move on and get opn with your life. The only person who is bringing all the attention to the matter is Ms. Favazza. There's no reason she needs to retire and be rich as hell from it.

When will be start respecting eachother? Doesn't matter who she is, where she is and what else is going on around her-nobody should be violated and especially without consent. How far are we willing to take this-give her the $-she deserves it.

Ok so her breasts were filmed unwillingly. $5.77 million?????? Maybe $100k. How many losers actually buy GGW CDs anyway?

If it wasn't the lady in question who lifted up her own shirt then obiously the it was a wrongful act and the she should be awarded the money.

that skank doesnt deserve that money. if she was such a good girl, why did she go to the taping. that skank wanted to be on GGW and her daddy got mad.

So, signs in the bar stated how films might be used. How many signs is a person going to read in a bar? Maybe they can put up a sign saying, "You may be sexually assaulted." I suppose that would make it O.K.
