ATLANTA (AP) — Bodies of the five Georgians killed in a Florida highway crash are being flown to Brazil for burial.

A Delta Air Lines spokesman tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (http://bit.ly/wdLPAF) that caskets containing members of the Carmo family on Thursday were loaded onto a flight from Atlanta.

Earlier this week, hundreds of people turned out in suburban Marietta for a memorial service for the family killed in the Jan. 29 interstate pileup.

Pastor Jose Carmo Jr.; his wife, Adrianna; and their daughter, Leticia, died in the crash. Also killed were Jose Carmo's brother, Edson, and his brother's girlfriend, Rose.

Six other people also died in the crash.

Delta spokesman Tad Hutcheson says the airline offered to fly the bodies to Brazil free of charge.
