First of all I like to say where is our stimulus check? At least President, Bush gave something back to the public. Second thing i like to comment on is that are we ever gonna get relief from this bad economy? Answer--- NO it will take years in the making and it will not happen even with this act of congress so called stimulus plan. we let these big corporations push our little business's right out. I'am so sick oh hearing about save our banks save auto industry how about save the little business help little people of America like farmers, contractors, and like even JOE THE PLUMMER, RIGHT LOL But its true. Well OBAMA You said you were for the little people Well Prove it quit helping the big corps.out and start help the people in need. Well good luck to all

Why bail the Banks out when you could help the people that are struggling to make their mortgages and bills why not loan them the money to pay the banks and the banks would not need the money, I think that would boost the economy and help free debt up on the hard working americans with a minimum pay, dont forget are homeless people and soon to be homeless do we just forget about them!

Socialism got us into this mess?? We dumb in Texas......

Bloated greed and Capitalism got us into this mess. It's going to take the government elected by the American people to get us out of this mess. This is why we voted the Democrats into office in the first place. They are the only ones who can do it and the GOP is still suggesting tearing our nation apart with ridiculous tax cuts for the rich (Grassley of Iowa). What the heck is going on? The Dems and Obama need to stop being bipartisan with a group of GOP party thugs who have no intention of being bi-partisan.

China is investing 600 billion dollars in their infrastructure for the next 2 years. Why are we holding back when we have so much need in every state ourselves? A tax rebate or tax break isn't going to do anything for our economy. We need far greater spending on our own country's needs if we ever plan to get out of this mess. We need to address the growing numbers of foreclosures and the bloated military industrial corporate complex budget. We don't need tax cuts. We need an overhaul of our nation's economy that the corporations tried to destroy and are still trying to destroy.

Socialism got us into this mess, why do we think that socialism is the answer that can get us out of it?

I think the Government should bail out the Little Guys along with the "Fat Cats". If us little "peons" could wipe our slates clean the economy would pick up almost immediately. For those who couldn't keep their slates clean after the one time bailout-TOUGH. I know I could.

The govenrment is a black hole vortex that sucks money in one end. The magical thing is that only half comes out of the other side. Government cant fix our problems because it doesnt have a job. It doesnt make or sell anything to create money. It takes it from us and spread it around. When are we going to learn this? Government cant create a lasting job without me paying for it. By the way, What is a "green" job? If we are paying for, shouldnt we know?

I'm sorry....where in this huge list of spending is there anything to "stimulate" the economy? "Water Projects", "The Electric Grid", "Water Projects", and "Health-information Technology"? I like Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert's "Perfect Stimulus Solution" better.

http://townhall.com/Columnists/NealBoortz/2008/12/09/the_perfect_stimulus_package The idea is for the government to STOP collecting any personal income taxes for the next several months. We'd all get to keep ALL our paychecks to spend as we wish, or save, or pay down our debts. Meanwhile, the government can run on the borrowed money. To see this simple yet "STIMULATING" idea, again, read it at http://townhall.com/Columnists/NealBoortz/2008/12/09/the_perfect_stimulus_package
