UC-Davis First Among Schools Where Women Study STEM

The University of California-Davis tops the list of 50 schools with the most women in STEM education, according to the web site Online College Database. Using government college-enrollment data as well as its own methodology, OCD based its rankings on female student enrollment in STEM programs from the bachelor's to doctorate level offered at schools across the nation; their definition included social sciences such as anthropology or psychology. Following UC-Davis, the top five includes the University of California-Irvinem, the University of Central Florida, the University of South Florida-Main Campus and Michigan State University.
