Romney supports the “cut, cap and balance” plan that’s become a Republican staple. But that plan seems unlikely to ever garner enough support in Congress or the states to become law. That leaves Romney’s plan for cutting the debt incomplete, at best, especially since he wants to cut taxes without making up the lost revenue elsewhere.
