It's ignorant but people might get that his name wasn't 'Buddah' about the same time they figure out 'Christ' isn't Jesus' last name but a title as well. Which is to say never.

You'd think someone would proofread these things. "Buddha" is not a name, it's a title. Siddhartha Gautama is the name of the Enlightened One, not "Buddha." The word "Buddha" is properly preceded with the article "the." He is/was "The Buddha," not "Buddha."
