Don brock...I hope you are speaking for yourself, cause this is ONE Cherokee that will NEVER accept 20-30 million illegal aliens.
They have wrecked havoc upon the poor working class Americans, you know, the group NOBODY is speaking up for in this mess.
You and everybody else that supports law breakers can't have it both ways. Enforce SOME laws...and let others slide because...oh, who cares.
Amnesty will NEVER happen!!!!!!!

Religous leaders please ask yourseleves HOW MANY OF MY AMERICAN AND LEGAL PARISHONERS ARE OUT OF WORK?.Why not pressure Mexico to use it's oil revenues to take care of it's citizens- instead of joining with those that have shown no appreciation for all the goodwill this country has shown to people that have broken it's laws. Please do not bend God's word to mean something that it does not. Pressure our government to uphold the law of the land (esp. when that law is just). Some people do not like our laws -not because they are unjust but, because they seek gain from seeing them changed or ignored.I respectfully ask that you seek God's guidance in this matter, not just those with certain agendas.

1. Finish the fence - make it longer and taller than you think you need.
2. Imprison illegals who get through. Have them work on the fence for a year or so - Cool Hand Luke style. Then send 'em back.
3. National I.D. Card or E-Verify. Simple, easy concept - Every high school is able to issue an I.D. card to their students - one would assume the Federal Government is capable of the same task.
4. Those illegal emigrants who have been here for more than 5 years, who are employed, and have no criminal record, get "Alien Cards" - Sorry Dems - no beholden voting block. 5 year path to citizenship - includes learning the language. Trash the bi-lingual society crap. It's not working for Canada.
5. Those illegals who have been here less than five years get transported to the border and a hundred bucks each "travelin' money". Their names go on a re-entry list as "resident aliens" - they may be allowed to return at such time as our economy requires their services.
Scheesh....How easy is that? Problem is, no one wants to solve it - they just want to spew hot air and bluster.

Illegal aliens are not the problem, what they are is a distraction from the real issues. Distractions are necessary to better control the people. Besides we need somebody to hate. I am a Cherokee my ancestors tried to stop illegal aliens as well we lost and now I am forced to put up with greed and hatred of illegal aliens(Americans) But I am happy with America except for the greed and hatred I love the technology which is not respected by those that created it.
One tribe in the days that the pilgrims showed up even instructed the white man how to hunt turkey and grow corn and fish but big business took control of the government by keeping there government small so the people will not see what is coming. And now Americans can only hunt if they are middle class or higher and they have to pay to fish. The land and its resources belongs to big business and is not respected like my people who respected the land we lived on and the animals we hunted. We cannot migrate from land to land because of the fences roads and many obstructions the old ways are dead forever which would be fine if it was not for the greedy big business who keeps there adversaries(Government ) small so they have little to fear from them.

This is so much horse droppings! We crow that we are a nation of laws. And that we should all obey the laws. But for how many dozen years has our government and most of the state governments totally ignored our laws regarding immigration and illegal immigrants? We have been hoodwinked and are still being blown smoke with all the "new" efforts to solve the illegal immigration problem. Ignorant, inept, brainless and backboneless describes the lot?
If our presidents and our legislatures and our state authorities ignore the laws in effect, why in hell should we obey any of the others?
Tar & feathers are too good for these sandbaggers. Stuff 'em all!

Why doesn't the administration go beyond opinion and challenge both the basic assumptions and the evidence used. The popular free ebook series “And Gulliver Returns” (http://andgulliverreturns.info) in book 4 examines both issues in depth--along with several other 'moral' questions.
The debate on abortion is merely opinion. Moral values are based on either self-centered, God-based or society-based non-provable basic assumptions. For the Catholic viewpoint let me excerpt from The Abortion chapter in Book 4 elaborates the pros and cons of the 3 ethical assumptions.
Let me attempt to summarize the changing Catholic position. From the 13th Century the views of St. Thomas Aquinas, that male embryos got their souls about 4 weeks after conception, females somewhat later, were the standard. His was a Christionized view of Aristotle’s ideas.
The crux of the modern idea, that the soul is infused at conception, might be traced to St. Paul (Romans 5:12) who started the ball rolling on ‘original sin.’ 500 years later St. Augustine popularized the idea. But the Blessed Virgin was born without original sin, her Immaculate Conception. Pope Pius IX declared this in 1854. Then in 1870 he decided that popes were infallible in church doctrine. So was his pronouncement retroactive?
Recent popes have generally followed Pius’s idea that the soul enters the zygote at the moment of conception. This brings with it some theological problems. Since many fertilized ova never implant in the uterus what happens to these little souls?
If you are really interested in the question, see the aforementioned chapter. It is done in detail. It seems that all parties should discuss the issues based on the assumptions and the evidence used-and go beyond unthoughtout opinions.

In congressional testimony, Leith Anderson said that the NAE's resolution had "no dissent". However, only 11 out of 40 congregations have signed on, with the Salvation Army and others pointing out that they're neutral or that they don't support the resolution:
And, someone other than Dan Gilgoff (i.e., a citizen journalist who isn't afraid to ask real questions) should ask those religious leaders why they're encouraging people to cross the border with some dying along the way:

That the NAE is taking such a strong, principled, biblical stance on such a pressing issue has me prouder of my evangelical faith tradition than I can remember. Leith Anderson has provided the sort of courageous, Scripture-guided leadership that American evangelicalism needs, captive to neither party but but seeking just policies and consistently affirming the dignity of human life, whether among the unborn or the immigrant.
