The Country's Emerging Shift on Abortion

Evolutionary theory does not state anywhere that humans are the product of "random chance," nor does it have any ramifications on morality. Those who think it does, are speaking from ignorance or mania.

Abortion in its current legal form does not kill "babies" -- in the first trimester, there is no brain activity or nervous system at all.

Yeah, outlaw "fornication." That'll work. Man made laws have a great tack record against natural law so far.

Belief does not alter reality; your atavistic dependence on mythological creatures reeks of desperation.

Here's an idea, for all you commenters and readers of this idiotic website: how about knowing something BEFORE you form opinions?

Focusing on abortion is the wrong issue. Premarital and extramarital sex must be outlawed (death penalty attached). Then who the h#ll will need abortion? Duh!

If a person believes humans are the product of random chance events it leaves them free to do whatever they want to do with all stages of humanity. If a person believes God created humans for His purposes it makes all the difference in the world! Unless we think ourselves to be as smart as or smarter than God we would do well to respect the life He created.

We need to value Life. Our Constitution says, we have the right to Life and Liberty.

The Holy Scriptures say, Thou shallt not commit murder. This is written in our laws.

We need to pray that our counrty will wake up and reverse Roe verses Wade.Life begins at conception. The Lord loves us and knew us even before He created the world.

Pre-born children are real people. They move, use oxygen, have a blood system, have brain waves, have a heart beat, have vital organs, have bones, even personalities. We just can't kill them. You can say whatever you want about pastors, Christians, churches, tithe collectors or whoever else you want but you can't say it's right to kill children.

Jesus said concerning children, "Their angels have constant access to My Father in heaven." Leave out the parts of your arguments that have to do with so many indulging in pleasures without responsibility which is by far the largest part of the abortions in America. We've got to protect the children. The mothers need help too but we can't help the mothers by killing the children.

If we think having an abortion is the right of the mother, then what if she takes the life of one of her children that is two years old ( for example )? She would be arrested and charged with murder. If she aborts her unborn child then should she be allowed to walk free? She murdered that unborn child and should have to pay the penality for murder. A phycian who performs an abortion, with the exception of saving the mothers life, is guilty of murder. How long are we going to allow people to murder their unborn children just because they don't want them? It is time for people to face their responsibilities. Wouldn't it be wiser to adopt them out to couples who do want children, than to kill them. There are thousands of couples out there who would love to have children but can't. Has the world gone mad? We are suppose to be human beings. We need to act human.

Dodd says women who use contraceptives are fat, have clots & cancer & no desire for sex. In fact, effective contraception takes away the dread of unwanted conception. He wants laws to force women to complete every conception. Prolife exists to make women produce ongoing generations of believers who pledge to pay the 10% tithe all their lives. If a person pays 40 years on a yearly income of $40,000, that's $160,000 to some church. If it's aborted, the dollar value is zero. Church law bans suicide because that also puts an end to tithing. In another comment here, I told people how to learn some of the many reasons for abortion. In l973, the Supreme Court made our government stop enforcing Canon Law that bans abortion. Since then, more boys & girls stayed in school & went to college. Some will be scientists who do stem cell research. One of them might help Dodd have buds to grow new teeth, or a new eye or heart or other part when he grows old. If the majority of Catholics in the Court try to repeal Roe, they must be reminded it's not just about "privacy,:" but about MOBILITY of women, their right to MOVE AROUND, to TRAVEL.

Dodd bases his comment on his "belief in God," but Scripture writers invented

"God, the soul & sin," to create a new category of paid preachers. They said God made & owned everything but for some strange reason he needs 10% of believers' assets. They said God was far-off so he needed representatives "here on earth," to be his tithe collectors. They liked the money but they loved the "flesh" offerings they turned into ribs, roasts, chops & drumsticks. Topic is "national shift on abortion," but there are the usual off-topic sermons & evangelizing. W. Leslie, without knowing all the women who abort, says their reasons are trivial. Let him web-search Bone disease-Osteopathology. Kidney disease, phrenology. Heart disease, cardiology. Crippling postpartum depression, sometimes permanent. Attitudes like his are cruel, inhumane & harmful. When Prolife-instituted laws make women die from illegal abortions, I blame every Prolifer & their preachers for MURDERING the women. They always apply that name to abortion doctors, but they deserve it themselves. Ban-Abortion churches should be draped in black all the time, memorializing women they MURDER.

There is much talk about Obama's desire to reduce abortions, but so far he has ignored the facts of research that the availability of contraception actually leads to greatly more abortion. Researchers often cite the increased pregnancy rates of contracepting women to poor useage of the products. Even the researchers are deluding themselves for this lame conclusion as things have not gotten any better despite decades of trying. What is missing from all of this is our true human nature. God has built into us a great capacity for monogamous love and since God is love in and of Himself & He made us in His image. Contraception tempts us to promiscuous behavior which contradicts the reason God made us--that is to have a beatiful foretaste of what real love is.

When will Americans "wake up and smell the coffee" that we have been going down the wrong road for decades? Contracepting women are less attractive to men, the synthetic hormone pills cause weight-gain, headaches, increased depression and irritability, reduced libido, deep tissue blood clots, and cancer. Moreover, contraception leads to more abuse from a contracepting woman's male partner as the man then feels betrayed by the woman's pregancy. And all this just re-enforces the problematic contraceptive mentality that ensues. Need I state that abortion is soon to follow? Is America aware that the synthetic hormone contraceptives & the IUD's cause abortion of the unimplanted embryo? Let us pray for our country & and whole world caught up in this web of deceit from the likes of Planned Parenthood & the Obama Administration.
