I was very happy to see your article about Obama's Faith Leaders--especially since there have been those, such as Newt Gingrich, wishing to stir up faith based opposition to the President as being "secular" or "Muslim." Mr. Gingrich has a book, "Stop the Secular, Socialist Obama Machine." What needs to be stopped is how Mr. Gingrich invents things. A very provable invention is that Mr. Gingrich, promoting his writer, Vince Halley, accused the President of "editing Jesus out of Easter." (htt/p://www.torenewamerica.com/obama-removes-jesus-from-easter-message)

From this accusation came at least three googled pages of outrage against the President. Talk about a machine, Mr. Gingrich's polarizing hostility machine needs to be stopped!

President Obama gave two Easter messages--neither of which he "edited" Jesus out. Instead Mr. Gingrich is the one doing the editing. The President's Easter Prayer Breakfast spoke much of redemption--which we desperately need.

It is amazing that such wrong views could be held of the President's faith in this age of abundant communication. On PBS, October 10, 2008, "Religion and Ethics: What the Candidates Believe": "All four candidates describe themselves as Christian. . .Barak Obama has been the most outspoken about matters of faith. . ." (says Obama), "I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins and that I am redeemed through him. This is a source of strength and sustenance on a daily basis. I know that I don't walk alone."

While the President is strong in his faith, he is also strong in the respect and religious liberty of others. I'm grateful for this. Personally, as a Christian, I believe in redemption. As an American, I believe in religious liberty.

Christ came from incest, based on the tale of Lot. Lot impregnated both virgin daughters but is called a "righteous man." His younger girl bore Edom, starter of Edomites. His elder daughter bore Moab who began Moabite tribe. Moab's descendants include the Virgin Mary. She was great grandmother of Moabite King David.e That means mythic Christ existed because of the sinful crime of incest, the oldest taboo in all populations. His incest was blamed on the girls, saying they got their dad drunk so he didn't realize he was having fertile orgasms. That's the fantasy of most incesting fathers, because many of them do get drunk for the crime. Most members of Congress yell "under God" in the Pledge, even after the Supreme Court correctly ruled those two words are unconstitutionally in the Pledge? Why do lawmakers want Americans to respectfully cling to a faith based on abuse of the most trust-based relationship? It seems many believers read Scripture but are skimming because they do read it hundreds of times every year. Read carefully, and picture what's being described in the story of Lot. It's a form of porn for male relatives with victims available.

Why isn't Obama hanging out with Bigfoot Advisers, Space Alien Advisers, Tooth Fairy Advisers? A strange concept or, utter nonsense?

Well, Bigfoot, Space Aliens and the Tooth Fairy carry about the same proof element as a god. Yet, we allow this delusion to carry weight in high office. Kind of scary, don't you think? We might as well get into our bunny suits and hop around rather than go to work and pay our bills or, for that matter do anything with any intellectual thought.

Note: Considering the times, Bigfoot, Space Aliens and the Tooth Fairy tend to have a bit more weight in the "it is possible" category.

ProLife churches go out of business if people stop producing new crops of babies who become tithe-paying believers. I ask church members to try this experiment.. stop paying tithes for a while, & let the collection basket pass without giving, and someone from the church treasury will contact you. Religious tax exemption proves lots of church members don't pay their full tithe, so taxpayers must subsidize worship. Congress is forbidden to hurt or aid religion, but "the church vote" is big and Obama aids religion. The USA isn't a religious kingdom, so it's treasonable to expect the civil government to enforce laws made by churches. In l973, the Supreme Court forced federal, state and county courts to stop enforcing church law that bans abortion. That was Roe v Wade. It still enforces church bans on suicide, but that will need to change. I repeat that church laws against contraception, abortion & suicide exist because those acts do mean a loss of church income. Why is it so hard for RDM to see there is a connection between money & the fact that preachers expect to be paid to "forgive sins & save people from Hell?" Churches are in the business of "selling salvation."

Is Obama realy serving the people of America, or is he trying to drag down the country to the ground? i believe that the Pope is the antiChrist, so why is Obama associating with him?

Chris Williams of PA has it exactly right... we need to reaffirm our commitment to separation of church and state, and stop making such a sorry public spectacle as to the presidents religion, or lack thereof. The only mentions of religion in the U.S. Constitution are the establishment clause and the admonition against a religion test for public office candidates. There is tellingly no mention of the Bible, or Jesus, or Christianity or any other religion in the document, and we should not mistake the intention... that our government is a secular institution, forged to respect the rights of it's citizens to worship any God, or none at all, and the seperation of that government from the meddling of any organized religion. And I, for one, will do everything I can to assure that the intentions of the Founders will be carried out, as it seems to have worked quite well for the last 230 some-odd years.

I rally can't imagine why any president would need a so-called faith leader, much less a whole bunch of them. I'm serious... does the man also listen to a variety of astrologists, palm readers, witch doctors and mystics to get their input? I think the president and members of congress need to start taking more of their own council, and begin parting ways with all of these advisors, advocates, and lobbyists of every ilk.

Thanks, I love God and I know that were all equal in this Nation. So, we need a leader that"s willing to give and love one another. He has giving me so much in the last month and now its time to give back. He put me where I can provide for the homeless and reach out to anyone.
