Thank You Jesus for inspiring President Obama and giving him Your vision of freedom of faith in America that would allow us to choose any faith we want, including rejecting You, even though You are King of the Universe. Continue to guide America in creativity because You are the Creator, and most of all, give us Your love to give freely to all of the American family, and to reach out when we see a need that only You can meet by using us.

I may be too late and too far down the list for this to count but!

But "what do I think?" It is this: why do these particular people have a preferred position to speak on such matters?

Why do they have a "special lobby" to hold forth? Why should their views...on any level...be given special attention or prominence?

The only faith osama obama has is being a muslim economic terrorist, his only faith motivation is the destruction of our great America.See how many muslim brothers he has moved into his cabinet of minions. The only reason he bowed to the prime minister of Saudi Arabia is because the minister is from respect of his age as a devoute muslim.osama obama is a radical terrorist of muslim faith,he has not proven his Citizenship per the Constitution no matter what anyone one say's,everthing points to African birth. The color of a man does not matter it is the character of the man that shows his true color.

I find it disconcerting that so many so-called Christians hold our president in contempt and scorn. As President, he is not representing any one religion when he speaks as President. JFK had to do similarly, as surely there were Catholics who were upset that he did not espouse Catholic dogma (and likewise, there were those that feared that JFK's catholic upbringing would make him anti-Protestant, etc.). Interpretation is a tricky thing: just because someone decides to go/not go to a given event is not evidence of anti- or un-Christian values. There are Islamists/Muslims who interpret the Koran as mandating they kill and destroy in the name of Allah, while others in the same religion speak of peace. Yet each feels they have the more correct, Godly interpretation! Likewise, there are Christians who feel very strongly about salvation, faith, what is correct behavior, and Christians in other denominations who interpret otherwise (ex: abortion, gay marriage, immigration, etc.). It's all a matter of perspective, but I caution those who would condemn someone else so rigidly. America is not a theocracy, and all views must be respected enough to be tolerated. Our pilgrim forefathers came to this country BECAUSE their views were interpreted as wrong, and we, their ancestors, should understand that religious intolerance is just as evil as political intolerance. Liberals and Conservatives can disagree: this is the essence of a free society. But neither has the right to demonize the other by imposing a perspective that is based on their own interpretation of their religious or political viewpoint. There are extremists out there who would love to create a theocracy based on their interpretation of their religious values: Terrorist Muslims who blow up civilians in markets, to terrorist anti-abortionists who kill doctors or firebomb clinics, both believing that God has deemed these atrocities as right and good. There are Muslims that would enjoy having a country where everyone is of one religion, and likewise in America there are Christians and others who would love to have everyone baptized and interpreting the Bible from a single, narrow viewpoint. Both of these are fundamentally against what America is all about, and we must be vigilent to prevent any one group from overwhleming others. Our Constitution upholds this value, and hopes to protect the rights of the minority views while enjoying the strengths of the majority view.

The President represents us all, and all of us are not composed of one view. Therefore, give the man some room to work, quit demonizing him or portending God-like terror because he does something. Bear in mind that no matter what he does, someone will likely not like it, deem it as against some aspect of their life or view. Demonstrate some faithful understanding, prayerful patience, and insightful compassion that any president or leader needs and deserves.

After he went to Egypt and proclaimed the USA is not

a Christian country, I knew for sure he wasn't for God,

but trying to please Muslims. Why couldn't he have said,

we are a Christian country but accept other faiths or one

of no faith. His stance on partial birth abortion is about

as close to Satin as you can come. Then there is his good

buddy, Bill Ayers that fire bombed a Federal Judges house

with his family inside during the early 70's.

Does this article sicken me? Yes. Do I think that our current President is a Christian? No. I have been convicted to pray for him and his family. Someone can be a million steps away from God, but it is only one step back to Him. Obama will one day answer to his Creator for his actions and be judged accordingly. I believe he is very prideful and arrogant. Did anyone else notice that the "Top Ten" were all about Obama and what he has done? I believe that everything he does is out of political convenience, not based on a solid faith. Also, everything he does is out in public so it will be seen by the world. I have the utmost respect for George W. Bush because I believe he stood firm in his convictions and had a deep-rooted faith and reverence for God. He didn't need to "show the world". He understood it wasn't about him, it is all about God.

Having said all that, I am equally sickened by most of the other comments posted on here. If someone claims to be a Christian and says things like, "God has a special place in hell for him" and far worse comments, they should SERIOUSLY reevaluate their own personal walk with the Lord. If you are a parent, would you say things like that if your child goes the wrong way or is extremely difficult? I hope not. The Lord doesn't have an iron fist waiting for us to screw up so He can condemn us. He is our FATHER, He is equal parts love and discipline. Check your view of God if you feel He would approve of some of the things being said.

Is it getting harder and harder to be a Christian in today's society? Yes, but we were never promised an easy life. So many things are happening around the world right now and I truly believe we are in the end-times. Personally, that excites me because I know how the Book ends...I've read the last chapter! But in the same breathe it ignites a sense of urgency for those who do not know the Lord (which includes Obama) AND luke-warm Christians who have become complacent and have no real relationship with our Heavenly Father. Also, the churches that are just "tickling the ears" of the congregation and not preaching ALL of God's Word...that is the most dangerous of all.

Remember, it is not our place to judge. Sin is sin in the eyes of God. We need to have a FIRM foundation in our faith in Jesus Christ because it will be tested harder and harder in the days to come.

I will continue to pray for this country and our leaders that their hearts will be softened and they will come to know the Lord. All the power they have has been given to them by God. I will also place my trust in the sovereignty of our Creator! May God bless everyone who reads this!

Every appearance that our president projects is of a man who uses "faith" or "religion"

to advance his career and agenda. It is very significant that he would have nothing to do with observing the Christian National Day of Prayer. In the past, our presidents have held a Prayer Breakfast, but not Obama. However, he was right there to celebrate Ramadan with the nation;s Muslims. It is increasingly difficult to see this man as a Christian, which he claims to be.

Rachel of AZ 10:31PM September 28, 2009

The only time he uses the Christian faith is when it helps his agenda. They only religion I have seen him have any respect for is Islam. I believe at heart he is closer to an atheist like his mother.

Dave must be a millionaire who doesn't mind having his utility bills go up every year, like the price of gasoline. When the US began, the government owned all the natural resources. But the Robber Baron era began. To its pals, Congress sold ore fields, oil deposits, forests, RR rights of way with free land to RR's on both sides. It sold water rights. It sold everything that was bought and processed and became daily necessities. Congress could pay off the investors who own public utilities, and run them with government employees and take the profit out of it. It would be like a big raise for all of us. But that will not happen as long as users are afraid of public ownership.
