Roll call underway, Romney on brink of nomination

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Mitt Romney is on the brink of winning the Republican presidential nomination.

The roll call of states has begun at the GOP convention in Tampa, Fla. Each state is declaring how many of its votes Romney will receive.

It takes 1,144 for him to win the nomination and he's guaranteed to get far more than that.
