As a Dem and as a person who understands the value of a two-party system it's hard to watch the Pub party sink to fringe status. Only the Pubs would vote to give up a sure-fire winner. Be interesting to see how these retiring and defeated moderate (not that Lugar was a moderate) Pubs vote in the lame duck session this year. Now that they have the tea party monkey off their backs they can go back to being reasonable.
