It's over. For all intents and purposes Romney is the nominee. BRACE YOURSELVES. The media will be harping for the next seven months about Romney's "enthusiasm gap." And for once, they'll be telling the truth.

Romney and company are in utter denial. "Well OF COURSE the conservative voters whom I'm attacking and marginalizing will become FIERCE Romney voters once I'm the nominee. What else are they gonna do - vote for Obama?! Bwa ha ha ha!" The funny thing of course is that John McCain said the same thing 4 years ago, and look what happened to him. But wait, I FORGOT, that was all Palin's fault. Or Bush's. Certainly not McCain's.
