HOUSTON (AP) — George H.W. Bush is formally supporting Mitt Romney's bid for the Republican nomination for president.

The nation's 41st president says Romney is a good man who would make a "great president." And he says it's time for Republicans to unite behind Romney.

The pair, joined by former first lady Barbara Bush, briefly faced reporters Thursday evening in Bush's Houston office to make the endorsement official. The 87-year-old Bush had informally endorsed Romney on multiple occasions in recent months.

One of Bush's sons, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, endorsed Romney last week. Another son, former President George W. Bush, has stayed out of the GOP nomination race.

Romney says he didn't meet with George W. Bush during his two-day Texas visit but speaks to him from "time to time."

GHW Bush is just another "loser" like John McCain, Bob Dole, and a host of other presidential candidates that had their butt handed to them on a platter by a Democrat. GWB Bush will probably be best remembered for saying, "Read my lips....No new taxes!" Of course, this turned out to be a lie and was the main contributor for GHW Bush's trouncing by Bill Clinton. John McCain and Bob Dole were both BIG government establishment types, so anything they say or believe has NO credibility either. Other idiots who have jumped on Mitt's bandwagon like the once respected and admired Marco Rubio, Mike Lee, Michael Grimm, Kelly Ayote, John Thune, Chris Christy, and many others have all drank the koolaid and sold their souls to the establishment. All that these endorsements prove is that the establishment has decided to "settle" for Mitt Romney because he would do the least to disrupt their tax and spend ways, and would be the best puppet for them to control.

In reality, it wouldn't matter if every neocon idiot establishment figure on the planet endorsed Mitt Romney because Romney will most definitely NOT win the Republican nomination. He knows it, the establishment knows it, and in August everyone will know it! Don't believe the hype coming out of the media that the establishment owns. Ron Paul will be the Republican nominee for President, and the establishment neocons will be kicked to the curb!
