I agree with Willard of CA. This is complete crap. The dirty little secret (and it's not so little or not so secret) is the President of the United States cannot and does not have virtually any control over gas prices. Only way our government can control prices is to completely subsidize and nationalize our oil industry and nobody is advocating that. It's all so ridiculous. If Gingrich can do it, why can't the House Pubs do it? It's bull.

That is a direct page out of Michelle Bachmann's playbook and it sounds just as rediculous now as whern she said it. There's no posible way he can magically make gasoline 2 bucks at the pump. If he was elected and got the gas line cut through the US like Repugs want, any gas produced would go into the International oil reserves and only make the oil pigs fatter and richer and gas would remain the same...HIGH. I think what Gingrich is doing is the absolute worst kind of pandering for votes a politician can do...LIE.
