Another one of this supposedly (Union friendly) presidents programs that will cost hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of Union and Non-Union electric utility employees nationwide their jobs is the grants he is giving to all of the electric utilities for smart grid technology. Now every investor owned utility, coop and municipality can buy electric meters that can be read, disconnected and reconnected from offices putting workers nationwide that currently and historically do these jobs manually out in the field out of work. Thanks a lot Mr President for using everyones tax money to put mass amounts of people out of work. What a joke! I hope all of the people who voted for him are really happy with all of the change we are getting from him.

What happened to U.S. the republic? Many people fought and died for this country. The died for freedom and equality and thats what make America the way it is. This country was built for its people. It is about time the power was placed back to the people. When taxes were getting high and there was a war being fought between French and Indians what happened? There was a revolution and that is what will happen to this country but it wont be humane. If we don't act fast riots will break out people will revolt and kill others. End the madness. Give the people what they want.

I don't understand how it has been a little over a year of him being in office and he hasn't done anything. He has put the nation more in debt. He is hurting U.S. not helping and when does this plan come into action. So far all i have heard is talk. We need more specialists on the economy so we can understand what we really need to do for the country. Does making more jobs help the people and the economy? YES. But, there are other things we need to focus on. I think paying off the debt is more important than making more jobs. Once we pay off the debt and get back on track then we can worry about restoring jobs and helping out the people.

Clearly the last few comments come from an individual that is isolated from the actual knowledge and experience regarding unemployment of "minorities" and their fate by the hand of the current government. I offer that he spend some in the research for credible facts and confirm the thoughts that lead to, or foster(ed) his beliefs -befor spreading anxiety, fear, hate, and ignorance. If he had spent any time actualy learning about recent bills that have passed(the actual Bill as posted on government web sites -not from some Fox News commentary) his view may be different. As for throwing minorities to the wolves? That's just dead wrong. He should head down to the local EDD and check out what's available regarding help for the unemployed -especially low income minorities. I just started a program (600 hours of training)that is in solar voltaic -FREE. Completely government and private donor funded. A n individual just has to be a US citizen and unemployed or have financial hardship. And, should he see this, in all the classes (culinary, construction, nursing...........and among the total number of students studying the courses offered, I've seen maybe eight "white" students -none of which seemed "elite"

Obviously this is the current administration's, republican and democratic and independent and all those in government, sick attempt at 21st century free market colonization. The heroism of the dove like democracy of the past is over, if it was even there to begin with. The people in power now are hoping to destroy and kill rather to heal. Jobs is the distraction, the right to life is what is denied and distracted from. Hang Sadaam and hail to Karzai is the mission.

First, emperor Housein will create healthcare for only the white, catholic, and willing. Next he will unemploy every immigrated minority, lie about the african american unemployment rate, and then keep the immigrated non elite out of everything but the maggot infested ground.
