Get rid of Geithner and Summers, I've been advising Obama for the past six months.I am reserving judgment on Rahm Emanuel. His whole team of economic advisors should go, and Geithner should be replaced by Elizabeth Warren. The test should be the State of the Union. If he fails to mention reigning in Big Insurance, Big Pharma, and Big Banking, this could be Obama's Waterloo. I hate to quote that idiot DeMint.

Where is that troll that keeps posting positive Obama letters in newspapers all over the country, he sure needs that scumbag now. Advisors are not the problem. Lets not forget....Van Jones,Anita Dunn, man/boy love kevin jennings, axelrod, limp wristed Rahm Emanuel (by the way that dude needs to tone it way down),Rev. Wright, Doran, Ayers,ACORN,Flager, million dollar dates,Air Force 1 flyovers in New York, slammed by olympics, slammed by New Jersey,Slammed by Copenhagen, slammed by Mass.,largest deficit in world history, tax cheat Geitner, terrorist siding Eric Holder...NEED I GO ON.
His advisors are a disgusting gang of misfits but do not ever lose sight that obama hand picked every one of them, which further proves his ineptness and corruption as a leader.

I am sure c mac is a nice guy but the drum he was beating is hollow.I mean C come on you correctly noticed he is a dithery, perhaps a better word is indecisive, weak ,a serial appeaser. I could go on but my point is Professor Obamas remaining acolytes are desperate to find someone else to blame. Let us be honest it is HIS POLICIES STUPID. That is the problem. The stimulus was a state reward program for party loyalists . It is empirical that what money went out was disproprtinately given to democratic districts. Furthermore there was little infrastructure spending in the bill , which i read. Did u C?This allocation of tax payer money is not an effective way of creating sustainable jobs. How about an idea. The USA has the 6th largest proven reserves of nat. gas in the world. An entire industry employing millions of people for DECADES could be started requiring no tax payer money. This would be based around infrastructure for delivery to vehicles , vehicle conversion and exploitation of gas fields. Instead the Professor muses over solar wind etc and some inchoate notion of a green economy saving us. Nat gas is real , clean and abundant the alternatives coming out of this admin. are chimeras. In short tax recovery act failed. Introducing legislation that would have de facto turned our medical system into utilities under strict government oversight(control) is simply insane. In Canada a dog has fuller access to modern medicine than a human. this is empirical. THere are worsse evils than non universal coverage and coverage for nthose truly in need can be devised without the Obama doctrine which was designed to begin implementation of a broader strategy of euro socialism. Once the government controls that which makes you live or die you are metaphorically speaking dead.I have lived under socialized medicine many americans have not. I simply say the path Obama sought would destroy innovation and reduce the quality of medicine over time and bust the budget to the point where there is no money for defence. That is why canada, britain etc spend fractions of gdp on the military. Health care devours everything. In ontario Canada for exampmple 13mm people are served by 48 neurosurgeons whose average age is 58. No material innovation comes from canada. On top of this disaster 42% of Ontarios provincial budget goes to health care.Awake America your health care system is the worst in the industrialized world except for all the others.THus another failure by Obama we were saved from this nightmare I hope by the will of Massachussetts who embodied the instictive apprehension of such a surrender of power to control of the state.Jihadists given civilian treatment beyond comprehension.War on the CIA beyond sense. Wavering as Iran verges on a nuclear weapon and possible collapse by deafening silence wrt support of a wide spread resistance( i guess joey klein the great thinker would deem this statecraft and nuance)I suspect the mullahs see it for what it is WEAKNESS.

President Obama needs to get rid of some of his advisors who have given him bad/wrong information upon which to base decisions. He also has appeared to "dither" when making decisions--and he did not do this during the campaign. I voted for him and still believe in him--the horror which would have ensued if McCain had been elected president with that numbskull Palin as vice president is overwhelming to contemplate--folks seems to forget that. However, it appears some of his advisors don't know what they are talking about--especially when it comes to Wall Street--don't know anyone who does not believe that there shouldn't be stronger regulation of banks as well as other aspects of Wall Street. If Geithner, Summers, et al, don't agree--get rid of them--especially Summers--he is an arrogant so-and-so, and I don't know why he was chosen for anything. While there is much criticism of health care reform, something needs to be done and the party of NO (Republicans) will not help, no matter what. I am old enough to remember the disdain with which Republicans greeted Social Security, the GI Bill, unemployment compensation, Medicare/Medicaid, minimum wage (Republicans would opt for no minimum wage--kind of like modern-day Marie Antoinette's let them eat cake if they have no bread), etc. Which one of these programs will the tea-baggers, right-wingers, plain vanilla Republicans give up, or pay back if they have used--none--they talk the talk but don't walk the walk. Whether it is overt or not, much of the criticism is also based on Obama being the first black president--people deny this but I have heard too much said, and not just from the Rush Limbaughs and others--the right-wing does not want him to succeed whether or not it will hurt the country as a whole.

It's Obama himself that is the problem. He has made one mistep after another and has lost most of the good will and respect he came into office with. The world isn't impressed with his foreign policy. The economy isn't reacting well to his policies. His American people are not impressed with his health care package and his deficits. Not much of anything is going right, and it's not just because he has a couple of poor advisors. In fact, having poor advisors is his responsibility, isn't it?
TomKatttof CA2:14PM January 26, 2010
Ok, a radical healthcare reform was absolutely the wrong first thing to attempt to tackle as a new President. Here's an item that can be tackled and will have immediate results and will please the masses! We need serious immigration reform and that doesn't include amnesty for those who broke our immigration laws. Close the border to illegal immigration, repeal birthright citizenship and begin deporting illegal immigrants and their families. Our social services and hospitals are burdened with the cost of providing benefits to illegals when there are enough of our own citizenry to 'over burden' these institutions. I don't mean to be cold and cruel but somewhere we MUST draw the line and say enough is enough. Also, we need to send Mexico the tab for all the services we provide to their citizenry. Take California/Mexifornia for example, the state is basically bankrupt and that may soon be the fate of the whole nation if we don't protect our own.

President Obama needs to recognize that his advisors have not been up to the job they were given, and replace them, fast. Bring in some new people!

It was Americans who elected Mr. George Bush twice for Presidency and no body else and similarly President Obama.
Do not we think that we need to improve the system to elect President? Obama comes with no experience for such a responsible position and Americans will have to suffer due to their choice.
arya1:51PM January 26, 2010
First off I say this: The president is going into only his second year of office. Rome was not built overnight. We sat for eigth years, eight years, and allowed former president Bush screw the system alive. President Obama walked into a mess, give him time to clean it up. You people have to admit progress is being made. America as a whole nation is evolving, yesterday is gone.
I do agree that we have not seen the commander and chief instead of a campaign speaker. I personally believe President Obama is to worried about pleasing the people instead of leading our country. He is a great leader so its time to show it. A lot of time we spend on not trying to mess up but we always do. He should take America by the strings and whip us into shape. The congress seem so out of touch with society right now. How can you relate to a struggle you have never been through? I think if the white house stop bickering acting like spoil babies we could make even more progress. We all should come together in unity and solve these problems to make our country stronger than its ever been.Being peity and ignorant to the happenings on America streets is whats decaying America. I close with give him time and in eight years we will be a better America for it.

The President continues to run after every photo-op crisis -- to his own discredit and the loss of most of the cliff hanger causes. To blame advisors is to say the President has no mind of his own; this may be the case. If so, change advisors; scuttle the last batch of promises. Progressives, bipartisans, independents can't keep up with changes and don't want to. Lead - that's what this President needs to do; fragment - that's what this President does best!
