For a while I also thought this is the time for a 3rd party. I hate what the Democrats are doing to our country and the Republicans don't seem to have enough political clout to blow their collective noses! But...if we start a (conservative) 3rd party we are essentially assuring the Dems re-election in 2010. Historically 3rd parties or independents only water down the strength of the candidate closest to their political position.
What we DO need to do is take the Republican party back. Search out and install candidates who will put forward true Republican positions when elected. We need to put immediate and intense pressure on those in office who keep voting to imprison the the American people in tax burden. They should know they will be replaced at the next election if they persist on ignoring the true values of the American people.
We MUST become politically active NOW!!! Support groups who are vocal, write emails to congress- be forceful but as courteous as possible. We can "bitch" at them but we need to do it in the "Queen's english". We need to start now by talking with those who can vote but usually don't. After all, if dead people can vote in the last presidential election we can at least sign up people who are still breathing, right?
If we don't take back the power of government now We just may not have the option later. Now is the time.... Off-year elections usually have poor voter turnout. This factor can be a huge advantage to us if we work really hard to get new voters signed up and, if necessary, taken to the polls election day. Now is the time... there may not be a later if we don't do it now.

This country was founded on God's principals and our right to free speech and liberty in all areas. Why are we letting the agnostics and athiests have their way???
We need to stick together and demand the rights that our forefathers put together be given back to our children and to us as a people under God, He is our leader, believe no man, they are only evil, self serving, and they believe us little, stupid people (they call us that) are not any good for this country?Well as one preacher, teacher said, "what if we don't deliver your food to the stores, the coal to your utility's factorys, stop fixing your cars and trucks, stop deliveries to clothing stores and such, close our restaurants because the waitresses are dumb and stupid as you SAY, that what the elite and the rich call us. Then you can sit in the dark eating your cold can of beans.
Big government, WATCH OUT BECAUSE THERE ARE MORE OF US THAN YOU AND WE CAN FIRE YOUR RICH ASSES.

I think the time is ripe for a third party, we need a party that will unite us in our common interests. I know the left and right cannot see eye to eye, however they both agree that something needs to be done, and most the washington polls don't represent their interests, just corporate interests. Let's face it there are 99 bad ideas to 1 good idea in washington.
If they would just enforce the laws on the books, we wouldn't be in this situation we are in now. We don't need a government healthcare plan we just need to break up the monopoly insurance companies. We don't need to reform our banks we just need to break them up also. Our politicians use our anger against each other, and we fall for it every time. You know there is no balance in our country any more it's all the rich that run everything, us common folk are just left out in the cold. They will not listen to us anymore, and we need to remind them (the politicians) that we can fire them all when they behave the way they have.

Wow I was fooled. On UTUBE watch "Fall of the Republic". There is alot of truth in it and it shows everything this presidency is trying to do right in front of our faces and now is the time to call them out on it. The wolf in sheeps clothing. Expose the FED, lookup the links and policies for yourself on USDA, FDA, FEMA, Chemical Corps, Monsanto, keep going it does not take rocket scientists to figure it out. I bummed but really what we have to do is unite and come together. Be concerned about your neighbor, create community, grow organic, get involved, express your voice, dont let them take away another constitutional right. Have you noticed that Bush was able to invade our privacy We have to pay attention because this global summit is trying to do the same, monitor us so they could tax us on using energy. Think about it, leaving the water on while brushing your teeth, empowering people to collect tip money if you turn your neigbor in for leaving his light on while he takes a nap. Obamha promised he would not raise the taxes, he already has, he wants to impliment things that have been started in prior presidencies Clinton Bush Carter all peanut farming high rolling oil foriegn bankers collective together, check out these organizations how they have restructure internal workings of USDA FDA and they are trying to restructure the internet too and they have created a whole government division for that too. Stand up and be counted unite to the rights of our constitution. We the people

It's easy to call Sarah Palin an extremist, but the fact remains is that's just a statement by those who dislike her, one not based in fact. Look at her record as AK Governor.
Obama on the other hand, now has a 10 month record of hard left policies that kill jobs, increase taxes and pander to left wing special interests. Look at his appointees: 37 Czars who answer only to him, an Attorney General who helped pardon PR terrorists and killers, who wants to try KSM in NYC, less than a mile from the WTC site.
Obama and his thugs don't give a damn about what we think; they're forcing it on us.
Rahm Emanuel is a foul mouthed thug, the Attorney General is NO RESPECTOR of the Constitution and VP JOE BIDEN was a jerk while Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations committee who's proving himself to be the fool on foreign affairs all the right wing pundits accuse him of being.
Keep it up DEMS and not only won't you lose at the polls but if you go far enough, your stupidity and propensity for self-serving fascist acts by the federal government might just incite another American Revolution.

If healthcare reform does not become law, the democrats are in trouble. Since most of the Republicans are obstructionists to anything Obama proposes, I can't see for the life of me why they should replace the democrats. This leaves the strong possibility of a third party revolt in 2012. Sarah Palin is not the answer for a third party candidate. She's a tiger, all right, but a tiger won't change her extreme right wing stripes.
