Major Nidal Hasan (Muslim) Did not want to be sent To Afghanistan and so goes on a shooting spree. An Iman (Muslim spiritual leader) Praises Hasan for this horrible deed and makes the statement that The only way a Muslim can justify serving in the US military is if he follows in the footsteps of men like Nidal Hasan. Obama Who has been documented as stating he is Muslim can not make a decision on General McChrystal"s need for more troops. All this Sounds to me to be related. If so were in deep trouble!

As I recall, he said he would talk to everyone -- that partisanship had to go; that he would lead ALL Americans, etc. etc. Except he won't talk with Republicans (and the dems on the Hill lock them out of many deliberative sessions); he won't talk to Fox; he can't make up his mind on the fight he labeled "the real war" (but, then, he had to spend all that time campaigning in NJ....)
Presidents need to balance all perspectives, then lead. Time for him to stop campaigning, drop the teleprompter, make some decisions, take some stands and ... LEAD.

Please don't try to "reform" the Democrats to advance your Republican agenda.
Nice try, but Andrew Jackson and FDR would still claim the modern day Democratic Party as the one they built and shaped so many years ago.
Certainly the party has become more conservative since the 1960's: Clinton ending "Welfare as we know it"; 50% of tax payers pay no Fed Income tax; Wide support for Bush's Afghan and Iraq wars.
But as always, Democrats rightly believe government can improve the lives of it citizens while Republicans consider government a necessary evil at best.

Many of our elected representatives within the Democratic Party are no longer following in the time-honored footsteps laid down by the founding fathers of our great Nation. More importantly, we as democrats see our elected representatives within the Democratic Party abandoning the values and principles as set forth within the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States.
Nonetheless, this is only the beginning of our problems as Democrats, for the current Democratic Party leadership is tainted by corruption and being taken over by Socialists. These Socialists are clearly a threat to everything we hold sacred in America, and they are gaining evermore control over our Democratic Party, our Nation, and the American people.
Despite this, we as Democrats can restore control of the Democratic Party back to the party members. All we need to do is cut off donations to the local, state, and national headquarters of the Democratic Party, and to make sure the donations are made directly to patriotic and honorable Democratic Party candidates that are not corrupt and/or Socialist.
So please help spread the message to everyone of our fellow Democrats. Also, don't forget to contact and request the Unions and other outside contributors to follow our lead as patriotic Americans.
Thank you, and God Bless America.

President Obama has done everything that we needed done to avoid the terrible financial crisis that was waiting for him when he came into office. He is working his ass off trying the improve people health care options. I am backing his wise decisions because he is working for us and everyone should want him to succeed. Republicans had the government in their clutches and did nothing to benefit the country. What President Obama does in Afghanistan will be done because he has given it the consideration it deserves. No point in doing an Obama poll on this site - too many republicans on here.

40.000 more troops is just a drop in the bucket of what is realy needed in that country this would not change a thing. What you need is 500.000 more combat soldiers and a general Patton. The problem is there is no money for a war like this, our countries economy is already deep in the hole.Obama has to stop procrastinaten and tell the American people what he wants to do,he has two options, get the hell out of Afghanistan and use the money to put Americans back to work,or he can stay there for ever and bleed our countries economy to dead. But we all like to hear very soon what he wants to do.

We need clarity of mission in Afghanistan.
It is impossible to make reasoned policy without knowing what your mission is.
And, the mission statement has to be honest and communicated to the American public if president Obama expects public support. Otherwise, he will never gain that support.
