-yeah because MSNBC,CNN, et al are SOOOO non-partisan/biased/ have a "view". Fox news just happens to not share YOUR view.
Funny how Obamatrons went after Fox news in trying to discredit them after ACORN was exposed for their moral, ethical, legal corruption.
Straight out of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radical, specifically #5 and #13.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Forget about Fox go after Al Jazeera. Not much difference. News with a view.

Explanation of the ostensible news/opinion Fox News dichotomy:

Obama must have mistaken the Old Media's fawning during the campaign as national adulation for him and all of his words -- regardless of what came out of his mouth!
So far, he has FAILED TO DELIVER on anything, and seems to distort actions taken by his administration.
Truly believe that he became infuriated with Fox News for opening sun light to Van Jones (not necessarily a fan of US capitalism), and ACORN (an organization with dubious missions and objectives, but operating with taxpayer's dollars). Fox blew the lid off -- and Obama had allegedly been an attorney for ACORN. This caused a lot of folks to question the real objectives of their 'AGENT OF CHANGE'.
Obama has gone from one who was perceived as a savior for the Free World to an 'axman who is great at sharpening his axe, but is incapable of chopping wood!"

Every time we get someone in the White House, that adminstration's officials cry about some news agency that is distorting the truth...problem is that in every lie there is some truth. If you don't like what they say, then don't listen. But for God's sakes (sorry athiests and ACLU) stop wasting the tax payer's money on such whiney bickering. Everybody just needs to step back and realize what a great country we live in where the vast majority doesn't have to worry about staving to death, getting hacked to pieces, and getting blown up by some knucklehead with a bomb strapped to himself. Instead we get to worry about which one of my 20 pairs of shoes am I going to wear, Britney Spears did what, Oprah is gay, one of my two cars needs an oil change, what sushi to you like, neuter that dog, spade that cat, don't be cruel to animals, I don't have health insurance (most people in the world don't), I spilled coffee on myself so I am suing you, which drug should I slip to myself today, my neighbor got a 42" screen TV so I need to get a 46", I can't pay my bills I will just go bankrupt, I make $3500 a month, but my credit card bills, BMW payment, $190k mortgage makes me pay $3300 a month, but I still want those new rims for my car, its the banks fault I was stupid enough to sign an ARM loan, its never my fault its always your or his or hers, someone else. IT MUST BE NICE TO BE AN AMERICAN. Forget about Fox go after Al Jazeera. That would be a fight worth fighting.

As someone who sifts through a diverse array of US and international news sources on a regular basis, it is easy to see that Fox news is unreasonably biased. Any network is free to have opinion shows, talk shows, etc. But news reporting must be as unbiased as possible (some degree of commentator bias might be inevitable). The trouble with Fox News is that biased comments and interpretations (at times erroneous) predominate their news segments. Certainly the Fox network is free to criticize the government as much as they want on their opinion shows. It would be useful to engage in constructive criticism instead of mindless slandering. Anyway that is their choice. At least they should stand true to their comment of fare and balanced reporting and at the moment in comparison with most mainstream media, they are very far away from actualizing their slogan. It is entirely harmless and even necessary of any press reviewer (governmental or otherwise) to point that out. So the administration is well within their place to make the comments they made.
Whether left, right or centrist, the American people should formulate their respective views more intelligently and productively, as free of prejudices as possible.
Peace.

Crybabies. Exactly right.
Of course their base likes it. They are composed of idealogues who only want their beliefs parroted, and the opposition silenced.
True democrats, like Jefferson and JFK, would run from these folks as quick as they could. On second thought, Jefferson would probably advocate watering the 'Tree of Liberty'.
Obama fancies himself like Lincoln? Other than the whole suspension of Habeus Corpus, Obama is kidding himself.

Taking on Fox may not accomplish much. They have a built in audience that cares much less about news than they do about ideology. Having said that, why should we all pretend that Fox is objective news? They have a conservative agenda. They know it, we know it, their viewers know it (that's why they watch and that's why they are so loyal) I'm tired of hearing about their great "ratings" though. They're the ONLY conservatively biased network. If you want Republican leaning news that confirms what you want to think, you have to watch Fox. If you just want news, you have a lot more choices. You can't compare Fox's ratings against CNN, you have to compare Fox's ratings against the combined ratings of ALL the "mainstream media". I think Fox news importance has been greatly inflated. Sponge Bob Square Pants has more viewers than Fox news. The fox news, A.M. radio, teabagger crowd is a small number of Americans. It seems to have stabilized at about 20% of the population. After all the wailing and teeth gnashing, a majority of Americans support a public option for health care. Fox doesn't have as much influence with Americans as the Fox faithful wish they did.
I have wonder: Why aren't Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter on Fox? Seems like a perfect fit. Every other right wing opportunist can't wait to get over there (Beck, Stossel) Why is Rush on radio only? What happened to his television show? Is it because he can't get advertisers and has lower approval ratings than Nancy Pelosi or Dick Cheney?

What Obama and his advisors are doing is about the most pathetic and childish behavior one can imagine regarding this subject. I don't agree with many of President Obama's polices and plans but I seek to support him as a president. Yet between this stuff and his voicing that all "dads" are obtuse and other truly stupid statements - no matter how well intentioned are telling me his is way out of his league - he needs another 20-30 years of life experience before he has the maturing for this job. It is just absurd.
