Given the disasterous state of the US economy, I CANNOT believe Mr. Obama continues to push HIS personal agenda and play "Chicago" politics.

Despite what ANY Economist says, this is the worst "Catastrophy" I've seen in our economy. Besides the HUGE failures of Mortgages, Banking and the Automotive industry, Small to medium sized businesses that have been around for 30 years have closed their doors.

It will take DECADES to EVER rebuild this JOB base.

Wake up Washington!

Deal with OUR REAL PRIORITY!

DROP the Agenda

If you are An American with any kind of health care you are probably taking 9 or more drugs.

The only reasons you are not considered a drug addict is because those drugs are approved by the FDA

a lot of us do not get much exercise or sunlight so we try and make it up with drugs.

And the pay off is diabetes and many other conditions I have heard of but do not remember because I care to much about my health to get mixed up with drug pushers. I even have epilepsy but as long as I stay away from the drugs and there therapeutic levels I do not have seizures.

So I figure seeing a doctor is no different than buying a clunker or paying to get sick.

I will not pay or allow A government insurance to pay for fraud like that.

If you are happy with your drugs which gives control of your life to others even to people you do not know, Vote down health care reform.

Health Care reform may give us hope to get real Doctors with real diagnoses with real remedies

If doctors quit because they are not making enough money they probably did us a favor. Let them move to some other country and do us a bigger favor.

I look at doctors the way many look at politicians, I do not trust them.

Obama tried to sells us a clunker.

When don't we junk it and build a new, lean model of health insurance whose provisions are open and understandable by all.

“U.S. Democrats and Republicans alike are denouncing Rep. Joe Wilson for shouting "You lie" at President Barack Obama during his speech to Congress, an extraordinary breach of decorum for which the South Carolina Republican swiftly apologized.” In my view Rep. Joe Wilson simply told the truth – perhaps a breach of decorum, but still the truth. On the other hand, President Barack Obama’s partisan approach, and misleading claims are even more damaging to the institution. “Not one dime more in costs towards the deficit” – unbelievable. “Won’t include illegal immigrants” – unbelievable. “Won’t affect current policy holders/we’ll keep our current insurance” – unbelievable. He may believe what he said – I don’t. But the way in which it was said belongs on the school playgrounds of Chicago not in the White House or Halls of Congress.

Health care is Obama's BIG DISTRACTION, so he can avoid facing the real issue which is the tanked economy. And for which he has no idea what to do. Call up another Czar? Give another speech about the economy, maybe that'll fix it. Try giving some stimulus money out to businesses and see if stocks improve. Unfortunately the bloated stock market is not an indicator of economic health. You might have learned that in Economics 101. Employment, consumer spending, the foreclosure rate...are better indicators of where our economy is headed... unfortunately, all those numbers are tanking. Giving 5% of the population health care they likely don't need while taxing everyone else and cutting medicare...is unlikely to make you popular. A czar is no substitute for a brain.

he has to win this one (health care) or indeed there WILL be a political "backlash" in 2010 or 2012. That's why he plans to win it. And he will.

What he needs to do first is MAKE GOOD on what he said in the speech with actual lawmakers (by name): "If you misrepresent what is in this plan, we will call you out."

Again the rush to push a lousy piece of legislation that will negatively impact society with it's high cost, unclear guidelines on who exactly will benefit, no mention of how it will be financed. The result is the creation of yet another massive, poorly managed, bureacratic, entitlement program that will likely bend all our children under the yoke of tyrany visa-vie financial oppression.

I would rather be sick and dying in a free American society than healthy and alive under the yoke of financial slavery.

He lured us into the belief that his address would not just clarify positions but seek to reassure .Think again. He wasted little time, allowing for the the Democratic applause machine that followed his every pause,in trying to stab his "shank" into the opposition.Try as he might this leopard can't change his spots. He will always revert to the Chicago ,correction the Joliet Way.

Yes the israeli money will definitely bring about PEACE alright. To those who need healthcoverage here and to the peace process to actually become one when boundaries become RESPECTED. Send the Israelis to die for their country. Why should ANYMORE of our children die for them over there. Yopu wnat a buffer btw you and iran then make one YOURSELVES.

madashell of IN 2:53AM September 10, 2009

I know!! lets not send anymore money to Israel until they learn to BEHAVE like other people do and stay OUT of other peoples backyards and then we can use that money to fix AMERICA's healthcare system. GI think we should also check and see if any Israeli banks got any quick transfers from the swiss banks. Oh shucks the whitehouseprobably FIXED that already. Can we EXTRADICT the bank reports???
