They agreed on postwar peaceful coexistence. it was wealthy capitalist Churchill, a Christian who loathed "Godless" people of the USSR, who reversed FDR's policy. The Red Army lost millions of men and much of the nation was destroyed. Truman began his rotten "Truman Doctrine" to "Contain (Jewish) Communism." He was very anti-semitic. He made sure of failure of the Morgenthau Plan to dis-assemble Germany so it could never re-arm. Churchill made his war-making "Iron Curtain" speech. Gorbachev, with ties to the Catholic church, began to destroy the USSR and make it return to capitalism with a tax-supported state church. Reagan, with a Catholic father, brother, lst wife and many Catholic aides, said his presidency was guided by the pope. He and the pope were on Times cover, boasting they destroyed the USSR. The Russian Mafia took over and bought cheaply the many assets created by socialism. The Church is back, getting privileges again. FDR and many other national leaders were prevented from accepting poor Jews displaced by Catholic Hitler. It is all so tragic, but let's get facts straight, please. .

Yell wing nuts and clowns L wing nut and whine about the past administration, you know very well they had plenty of help from Barney, his boyfriend at Fanny Mae, Chris Dodd and others as you call them are clowns of the other stripe. There is plenty of blame to go around but you only want to look at one partisan side. Are you going to use those talking points in the next millennium? This administration has taken over the private sector and printed trillions of dollars with a capital T that will lower the value of the dollar and take us back to the 1970s inflation of Jimmy Carter. Of course I am certain you don’t want to hear about.
The president said today in a TH meeting that we are having a long vigorous debate about health care. The real truth is the congress has been hell bent to pass this mess in less than 90 days and without reading the contents of the legislation. All this has been going on because congress and the President know if the voters find out what is in the fine print this bill and what it will cost they will demand it be voted down. If anyone else had called for a $500,000,000 cut in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements to help pay for this the Democrats, AARP and others would have crucified them. I destroyed my AARP card over 7 years ago after realizing they are more interested in toeing the line for one political side and preserving their bottom line than for the good of those they represent.

I am 84 years old and have had my share of surgeries and hospital stays. Having medical insurance has protected me from major out of pocket expense for which I have been most grateful. I have never had to wait weeks or months for required surgery as I understand is the norm in countries where everything has been nationalized and prioritized. I feel sorry for those who do not have medical insurance but am concerned that what our President has in mind sounds more like throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Let's pull together a conference of people, not politicians, with professional credibility and integrity, that can address the weaknesses in the current system of delivering quality health care and recommend constructive changes without demolishing a system that works very for the majority of Americans.

Let's stop Medicare to every single individual who is getting it. Guess what Medicare is socialize medicine. Why don't you tell your grandpa that you are going to take away Medicare from him? Let's see what he says to you. I don't think he would be mused by your suggestion. Enough of the fear mongering and enticing hate and confusion. I agree that Mr. President's health care plan is expensive but what is the other side presenting. Let's see telling people that Obama's plan will kill old people. What kind of non-sense is that? organizing mobs to show up at town hall meetings and preventing any discussion whatsoever. What is the other side trying to achieve? We know most of them and a handful of Democrats are bought by the Big Pharma and health care industry. If it were upto the Republicans, we wouldn't even have Medicare.

Wake up to the real world.
If you don't want health care reform ... then you are in favor of 20% annual increase in a health care costs. You must be in favor of health care run by outfits like AIG and other insurance companies that have taken our bailout money to campaign against this reform. You must love paying through the nose for health care twice as expensive as any other Western industrialized country. You must relish the chance to leave millions of Americans without any health care, especially children - that's about as anti-family as you can get.
Government can and does deliver efficient, quality health care that costs less than any competing service. Medicare, The VA and Congress' own health care are the cream of the crop, better than anything else available, and surprise these are cheaper that hack health insurance plans most Americans can get.
We just got over 8 years of the some Republican clowns running the country into a ditch and now the remaining 25% who call themselves Republicans want to keep running health care into the gutter.
What we have here is a bunch of whiners here who want Americans to continue to pay far too much for health care.

public option of healthcare reform must be remived from this legislation!!!!
IT WILL lead to a single payer system. President Obama and Barney Frank, among others, have
displayed their support for this result. Government cannot deliver efiicient, quality healthcare that contains cost!!!!!
Obamacare will either kill us or bankrupt us! The DNC and the president is trying to belittle the citizens of our nation because we disagree. Is he a president or a dictator???
God help our nation if this passes!

So many people find it difficult to accept that MR.Obama won the presidency (I wonder why). How about doing your job (whatever your title); be a help to the President in navigating us through this difficult time. Hate-mongering expends a lot of energy. I'm glad President Obama bases his actions on this country's founding principles, while doing his best to be the great leader for the USA that he is. Thank God for the positive, forward-thinking people in this country and the world Who don't wish ill on others.
