I only see Obama causing more problems, Obama needs to step down he is preventing our country from mending itself. The only thing he is working on is tearing our system down.

When asked about the Gates incident, President Obama replied that 1. he "may be biased" since he personally knows Mr. Gates, and 2.he "did not have all the facts" about what happened. Then, based on his admitted bias and his admitted ignorance of the facts, he immediately proceeded to jump to the conclusion that the police "acted stupidly" in arresting his friend. Wow. That's from someone we were told was a "brilliant legal scholar", past editor of the Harvard Law Review, and a law professor. What an abysmally disappointing display of "legal prowess." I have looked at the photo of Mr. Gates on his porch that has been widely shown in the media. I see several policemen, all with their mouths closed, and they all appear calm and professional. Then I look at Mr. Gates and I see a man with his mouth wide open, apparently hollering, and I see an expression of rage on his face. Based on that photo I would say that Mr. Gates is the party who "acted stupidly."

Harvard should fire Gates, but it won't because it is liberal and afraid of the race card. But he is probably an untouchable!
But it should censure him and put a letter of reprimand in his personnel folder.

muser of NM, it's almost comedy to read you comment on a topic regarding racial discrimination as you address the people in this forum as "aggravated rednecks", as if everyone that criticizes our african-american president is such... just another case of the pot calling the kettle black.
and martin of NY, i find it troubling that you think the alleged "racism" that troubles our nation, which we are so willfully ignorant to address, will cause it to cave in on itself and not the trillion dollar bailout which will turn to deficit, which will only be augmented by this catastrophe of a health care bill (actually stated by the congressional budget office in the past few weeks), which we will be paying off in taxes for the rest of our lives. just another case of arrogance and ignorance yourself...
i think everyone is due for a strong reality check... including our president. you, president obama, are in a position of great power and ability and it is a shame that you are wasting your time and ours meddling in state and local affairs. just another example of socialism at its finest.

This man is not trying to unite anyone or anything other than his "palace guard " to keep him in power ala' Robert Mugabe.Remember this in 2012 ,when he needs any vote he can con from moderates to add to his assured base from Chicago.Fellow Americans -love your Country , have pride in knowing who we are,what we've accomplished.Together we will survive this anomaly in our history.

The question is.. would it had made national news if it were I caught for breaking into my house, or you caught for breaking into your house? It may have made the local news, maybe. So is this really a race issue, or a just because "He's my friend". So what is the next premature judgement going to be made?

GIVE ME A BREAK!!
The next thing that we are going to hear is that Obama has hired a "KEEP ME OUT OF RACIAL TROUBLE CZAR"!!
Simply, Obama made a fool of himself on July 22. He failed to make his case to the American people health care; took a very cheap shot at doctors on his 'tonsils for bucks' comment; and showed his 'heart' with his race card regarding Gates!
