Yet another waste of taxpayer's money. They will drain us dry and then sweep up our dust and dispose of it. Little does this administration care for the people. Obama has been mentored in Communism, Marxism and hate for America and whites. He will stir up racism and will make sure that illegal aliens get more of our hard-earned money. In the healthcare bill illegal aliens are covered by govt. health insurance. paid for by US. And mandatory end of life counciling for those of us over 50 is required every three years. If we become too much of a financial drain (as in medication, hip replacements, cancer drugs) the govt. can and will determine if we are just a liability and will give us a choice of suffering or assisted suicide. Doctors will be monitored and cannot own too much nor can prescribe drugs that the govt. doesn't preapprove. All doctors will be paid the same and hospitals will be government controlled. Our bank accounts will be connected to the govt. database. Under the Employee Free Choice Act all people will have to join unions or not have a job....among other things. Communism has arrived in the form of BO. Oh, yeah, BO has written a bill that if passed would negate any term limits on the presidency which will make him, in effect, dictator.

So, where are all the global warming strategists? Why aren't you guys all in an uproar. All that wasted jet fuel for PR Hype? C'mon - just think of all the CFC's that needlessly went into the atmosphere (cough)!!! Now all the New Yorkers are gonna get sunburned and polar bears are going to have a little less ice to live on because Obama & his crew can spend our money at every whim.

Why would they need to actually fly to get the Statue of Liberty as a background for Air Force One? Hello, they could just use editing software like Photoshop.

I think that when the truth comes out... we will see that either the prez or his wife was joyriding with political friends and got caught in this incredibly embarrasing situation. It is the only explanation to the secrecy. I'm sure they are all getting their stories and alibis together.

The President's airplane can only be flown without his permission for a functional check flight after a maintenance action. He's a lying sack of dung, but most discerning person's knew that.

I for one do not believe that the President did know ahead of time. The photos were - I believe for him - no doubt a campaign of some sort. Photo ops & this President have historically gone together - I think this was not an exception. His Photo op became a photo whoops!
Yes, he may have been ignorant of the consequences ... but that's a poor excuse for irresponsibility and not heeding the pre-planning advise not to do the flyover.
It caused massive fear, mayhem, people (for fear) running for their lives - perhaps even some deaths (heart attacks)!
The buck stops with the President!
