Were any cuts made? Did we save anything anywhere?
We are at a critical stage ... with the federal government bleeding so much money, something needs to be done to slow, then stop it. Why doesn't Obama challenge the entire government to find ways to save? To make sacrifices?

100 million is chump change when it comes to our overall budget problem, but he does have a chance. If he puts in place a continuous improvement plan. Not $100 million and done. Let’s start the goal at $100 million reduction each month. This action would give us all a glimmer of 'Hope and Change'

Cut $100 million from the budget, spend like a drunk sailor, force Americans to "green" energy by raising prices on oil, gas, & Nuclear power, and provide universal health care.

I voted for Barack Obama because I fell for the same BS as everyone else. I won't vote for him again. I'm sure his handlers have a plan to make him look golden just prior to the next election in hopes that we will all forget all of the lies he will no doubt push off on us between now and then.

I want to see all the Republicans and their Tea Party advocates live in Texas and South Carolina where they won't have to pay any taxes. Let them all live there so they won't have anymore Social Security, sewer systems, paved roads, and police and fire protection. Go for it folks,have at it and enjoy.You can also torture people there and put them in boxes with insects and waterboard them all you want. By the way why not pollute the waterways some more with more of your tea bags. As far as Congress taking a pay cut, they don't make nearly as much as your friends in the Oil industry and the Gun manufacturers. Alsoyour best buddy McCain opened up trade with Vietnam, a lot worse than Cuba and Venezuela put together, and he gets his millions from Cindy's beer company. What would the folks in Arizona say when McCain cuts out their earmarks? Nixon opened up trade with China. Did you forget that too?? I don't think Obama should have caved in to any of your right wing lunacies!

The whole stimulus package AND the budget need to be repealed and actually "thought out". When your roof's leaking, you don't go buy a new car. We all are realistic enough to realize that some money has to be spent but it's time to face PRIORITIES and not continue chasing "agenda wants". If Mr. Obama wants to change the world, do it on his nickle.
