We were born on the same day but two years apart. I was born Feb. 8,1960 so other than being born on a stellar day,she's intelligent,beautiful and she's on top of her game.Enough already with the race crap because African Americans have help build this country brick by brick.

She was a summa cum laude graduate of the School of Chemical Engineering at Tulane University, one of the finest schools in the nation, and has a master's in chemical engineering from Princeton, one of the best schools in the WORLD. Jackson joined the Environmental Protection Agency in 1987 and worked for the EPA for 16 years in Washington and New York City in a number of capacities dealing with hazardous waste sites and enforcement.

Kathy of TX, you are truly an idiot!! African-Americans can and do have spanish last names. African-Americans come in all colors and phenotypes. New Orleans has always been a huge melting pot. I'm sure the Perez family that raiaed her is a "black" family. Jackson identifies herself as African-American....that's what matters! Research New Orleans, you need to educate yourself.

Malthus accurately warned that when people outgrow their food supply, they look for other places to colonize. They leave their cropless fields and go as far as needed, to find another place with good weather, soil and water. We know we must import food after we pave over farmland to make freeways and cities, but families all over the world continue to produce child after child--each one a consumer in need of shelter, food, etc. That means more pave-over, more imports. I hope Catholic Jackson is not a Ban-Abortionist. I blame interfaith Ban-Abortion political action for interfering with efforts to require every nation to cooperate in family planning. Globally, we need tax-provided contraception, voluntary sterilization, abortion and sixth grade courses on reproduction. A cruel profiteering motive drives Pro-Lifers. They believe each conception has the potential to become a believer who will pay the huge TEN PER CENT LIFETIME TITHE. That's $160,000 if a person pays forty years on a steady yearly income of $40,000. If the person pays for weddings, baptisms, confirmations, funerals and church schools, that's more church income. The world is too precious to let religion-driven overpopulation wreck it.

If anyone questions whether tighter and tighter regulations will inflate consumer prices, look no further than gas prices in 2001 versus 2008. I am of the opinion that inflation is related to oil price (cost of transportation). All you environmental gurus might like to pay $2.40 per gallon, but I prefer $1.50 per gallon or cheaper. Hooray for the EPA! Good job on cleaning the air and emptying our wallets. I am sure the EPA wishes Henry Ford was alive today so he could be lynched in public. The automobile, what a wicked invention! What smart people we have running the country. We should go back to Roman times and ride horses or donkeys. I here donkeys don't pollute as much so Lisa Jackson and others like her should choose the donkey. Great gas mileage.
