I must tell anyone here that someone truly needs to look at the fact that no one can deny that it is no secret that both DNA, and RNA reconstruction do exist! Now anyone with any sense, and sensibility does know that this can be done with your own genetic make up! I want to make it clear that we need to tell that we do not organ transplants any longer! Let us use the tools that do exist in forensic science to prove that with absolutely no doubt there is no longer any reason what so ever for any individual to be on any waiting list what so ever! Now what I am saying is that the same way a crime scene can be studied through the use of forensic science, as well as proving someones death is done let us go and use these same tools to prove that we can now find out how the adult stem cells are able to be grown one's own body! I do say this because we can turn the medical profession upside down over night with this change in the practices that we have not gone to use for anything else because of the complacency of the medical care profession in general! I am totally convinced that there are some extremely intelligent people in the government that do in fact know what kind of research exists that exactly involves adult stem cell research, as well as embryonic stem cell research! I do use this reasoning as though one is playig chess, because I have come to reason out a whole pattern of issues the U.S. government has been able to secure for an extremely long time! Now I am absolutely convinced that this fact without question that it is only since the freedom of information act of 1992 was passed that so much has been kept out of the reach of the general public! I do understand that it is no secret that there have been an elite group of people who have known exactly what has gone on involving stem cell research therapy as some secret project that has been left unquestioned for over a century! Now let us realize that it is reasonable to believe that vaccines can be built through the use of the patients own genetic make up! I do happen to be talking about building adult stem cells through for individual's own vaccine to be used rather than keep doing it through the so called conventional ways that it has been done for all along! I am just real tired seriously of anyone being like this is over their head because they want to just believe that there is a so called quick fix answer to every medical matter! Now make people understand that they need to acknowledge the importance of looking at the base that the adult stem cell research will indeed cure their own problems that they failed to look into! I do mean this as the grounds for looking into legitimate science that has never been taken serious enough! The reason that there is all this controversy about the embryonic stem cell research, as opposed to the adult stem cell research, is because this is all about the fact that there are just an egotistical elite that do in fact seek to make medical care a business!

Hello From Aus,

Congratulations to America for making the right decision in the face of some unpopularity, you don't get to see it often over here anymore unless your a minority group and its voting time. The way I see it, there are endless opportunities with regards to stem cell research and virtually no downside. And I don't think the Church are in a position to be lecturing anybody on morality, they're track record speaks for itself and climbs every day. Hopefully this is the first step in pushing religion from Government, and simply recognizing it for what it is - An outdated system of societal control that is no longer require in modern times.

President Obama means to spend taxpayer money on research that destroys human embryos. Before he does, I hope somebody brings to his attention what most Americans also seem unaware of, that not a single clinical success has resulted from treatments using embryonic stem cells. None. Nada. Ziltch! To date, however, all of the cures by “miracle cells” are are only from adult stem cell therapy providing hope for patients with Crohn’s disease, lupus, heart disease, blindness, Parkinson’s, and sickle-cell anemia. And according to biotech writer James P. Kelly, umbilical cord blood stem cells are already being used to treat 70 forms of blood and bone marrow cancers.And just a few days ago, there was a report at Northwestern University. Twenty-one patients with multiple sclerosis were stabilized following treatment with adult stem cells removed from each patient’s bone marrow. In some patients, the disease was reversed.

The mainstream media refuses to report on this, and too many Americans remain unaware of it. All stem cell research is lumped into one category. Ignorance about these cures-- that they result from adult stem cells only -- may be driving the public’s demand for embryonic stem-cell research, which kills human beings at the embryonic stage.

So why do researchers and the biotech industry push so hard for public funds for embryo-destructive research? Because science wants science for science’s sake and, incidentally, because they stand to make huge profits through potential patents. It’s potentially far more lucrative than research involving adult stem cells.
