It's a relief for those who are out of a job and those watching their co-workers lose their jobs.

And while a government stimulus is not desireable, their the only ones willing and able to spend money in this crummy econony.

As for Obama and the current Congress's actions: They are not helping get us out of this mess, because they are not the actions that WILL get us out.

Eventually, we will emerge from the recession, in spite of the government.

Given that it took Bush 8 years to get us in this mess...why are we so surprised that it will take time to get us out? Bush started office with a Zero deficit and now look at it.

I want to know if students are going to get anything extra on last years taxes or if we have to wait till we file next year's taxes.

How do you shove through a HUGE un-necessary spending bill and then vow to cut spending? Words are just that, actions are what count. So far, Obama's actions and words have done nothing to instill confidence in anyone that still pays their mortgage, has a job or pays taxes.
