Bush and Ex-Presidents Counsel President-Elect Obama

It is my sincere hope that President Bush will be recognized for his graciousness in hosting the event with ex-presidents and Pres. elect Obama. He has been much aligned with negativity from the liberal left and the attacks upon him have shown our elected politicians as self-centered, self serving, ans shameless. Would they have shown President Bush the same courtesy, offered him the same extended hand, our country would not be in the condition it finds itself in at present.

Our congress and Senate, especially those heads of committees, have neglected their duty to serve the Presidency and the American people. They assure themselves of security of benefits in retirement - guaranteed for life, and pay raises while Americans are losing jobs homes and fear for the security of Social Security, retirement investments (having aalready lost much of it). There is no longer much integrity, honesty in Govt., Businesses (CEO's), Financial (Wall St./Banks) visible to us. Where are regulators to audit and oversee these institutions? Why can't manufacturing and business be brought back to US which provide jobs and safeguard our economy? Is there any wisdom and cooperation among you? Do you truly care about America - the land our forefathers laid down foundations which made us great? They served the people and our nation with sacrifice. wisdom, and integrity.
