It's funny to read this old typical biased article and see what Barry's sycophants were saying then about this loser and with a 2 1/2 year record, they can all eat crow! lol I'm sure they won't though.....it's all the fault of the racist tea baggers out there lol
I'm looking forward to hearing Barry's new Stimulus II plan when he gets back fro the Vineyard and golfing with his Millionaire and Billionaire buddies!
You can't make this stuff up folks, Zero is a loser!

Bette,
Moron - how would you know! I wonder how you people feel now in 2011 with
the one". Feeling that hope and change yet. You people are the reason this country is in such a mess because you voted your for someone who had no background. Idiot!

George W. Bush an avid reader? LOL the man can barely pronounce words that he read off of teleprompters or even the little black box that was supposedly hidden during his election or re election i forgot which. Bush can only read my pet goat, hell probably not all that well.

Obama is sincere, attempting to handle a diseased world.
Every one in one's own way must help achieve the objectives for a better world for people to live and enjoy life.It is the least, people can do for another individual.

Actually, GWB is an avid reader, I was surprised to learn. Not sure what genre he's into, but he likes books.

Whether you're Democrat or Republican drop out of attack mode and give the guy a chance. The last eight years have not improved or avoided economic meltdown regardless of when it actually began. Now to prevent nuclear meltdown the new president will need the entire countries support irregardless of party. So save your laments and contribute to the turnaround. Arguing about how the new President takes a vacation is a waste of air. By the way I am not a Democrat or a Republican so don't start screaming about bias.

With the stress and extreme strain of the position and the expectations coming from the peoples of the world, the POTUS needs to take vacations/time-off to regroup, clear their heads of all the clutter, and recalibrate. This is one good way to maintain focus and do the best job that they are elected to do.
This also applies to the staff and cabinet members.
Each of us is different (thank goodness!!) so our vacation preferences will be different.
I just hope the next time PE Obama gets away, his privacy will be respected more and better than has been demonstrated this time.
The media reports have largely been useless gibberish. News outlets really could save money in their budgets and not send reporters to cover every bite he eats, and other personal matters I will not mention.

Obama has two young children - of course he's out and about with them going to zoo's and getting slushies. Bush's daughters were in college - so zoos were pretty much out. Don't kid yourself - Obama will avail himself of private vacations once he President. The glare of the spotlight will (or at least should be) too much for his family.
However, Obama has a lovely, $1M+ home Chicago - he's not hurting for property. Bill Clinton was a fame whore and mooched off of rich and famous friends on Martha's Vineyard. He ran towards the spotlight and cameras - look how he undercut Hillary's campaign because he couldn't stand to not be the star.
It's too early to know- but whoever said that Obama's stock will fall and GWB's will rise over the next few years is probably right. Hundreds of thousands of AIDS patients have been saved in Africa because of Bush's advocacy - the only world leader to step up in that manner, ever. But, because of the problems of his presidency (which are also big) he doesn't get that credit. But, till has a way of evening things out. Meanwhile - Obama will make mistakes (he's only human) and people will realize he doesn't actually walk on water. And eventually, people will start making comments that he's spending too much time at the gym - look how "fit" he is! What, he has nothing better to do than stairmaster?
Our currently economic problems started many years ago - prior to Bush's admin. Clinton left a mess that only came to roost during the last 8 years (911, Katrina, Freddie and Fannie), and before him the wholesale deregulation of the Reagan years. It's not all Bush's fault. And, btw, Congress has a lower approval rating than even W.

When the transplanted bush with the fake Texas accent that is George W. Bush arrives in Dallas, he would be well advised to shun any "Welcome to Dallas" parade plans.
We know he's no fan of reading or books, in a depository or otherwise, but even a little research on Google will give him information on what a motorcade through Dallas could be like.
It's going to be interesting to see if he can find something to keep himself occupied with when he's not waiting for his next vacation, since he's unemployed. Perhaps he could finally finish "My Pet Goat"?
