Sorry. Take a two-mile walk every morning before breakfast.

I am from Emirates and also now'm speaking English, give true I wrote the following sentence: "  To those who work diligently and ethically to provide medical care through the medicare program, we will work with you to root out the few who corrupt the system and taint the good reputations of health professionals everywhere."

With respect :-D, Onslow.

There is no transition with Barack Obama's transition team.

We are going the wrong way and we need real change before we destroy ourselves. We voted for change to protect us and make us truly prosperous without problems.

The goal in life is not employment; that has caused the world problems of pollution, global warming, energy crisis, reoccurring financial crises, poverty, war, immigration, disease and high health care costs. Soon everyone will have to pay for health insurance; that is another bill we were not looking for.

The goal in life is a garden paradise where we plant trees and plants that provide food and select pets that give fresh milk and eggs. Instead of procession with preservatives and transporting food with polluting vehicles, we can have all our needs in our own community. That is true freedom and independence; and it solves the world problems at the same time.

In 1960 Dr. DC Jarvis, MD wrote a best selling paperback book that warned that the way we are feeding the animals in feedlots instead of letting them make natural selection changes the ph of our blood from slightly acid to alkaline and allows viruses to take hold and cause disease. Milk changes to alkaline with pasteurizing. Fruit and vegetable grown with fertilizer also produce alkaline food. "Arthritis and Folk Medicine" (still available) told of diseases that sound like bird flu and mad cow disease as well as human diseases. He gives a simple adding apple cider vinegar to cure and prevent many diseases.

We are going the wrong way. We wanted change; there is no evidence of understanding that producing more jobs pollutes us faster and keeps us in bondage and stress. Debt, credit, insurance and most interest are warned against in the word of God in holy books of many religions. We are in a perfect situation now to turn to the garden paradise retirement lifestyle that brings equality and abundance of food and peace. If we fight this financial problem as they did in the great depression, it will cause more of these same problems that we have made. Speak up, America; we need real change to lead the world into a future.

Hopefully, with the help of the People, Obama will be able to empower American citizens and small businesses by limiting the flood of cheap imports and the foreign ownership of American industry. Right now, the multinational corporation, for example Walmart, poses such a challenge to the legitimate authority of the state it has become a threat to democratic self governance the world over. For conservatives to portray multinational corporations as some sort of scapegoated out-group like Jews during the Holocaust is absurd. Multinational corporations do not have the same interests as Americans or American business; an MNC only needs a consumer market and it doesn't have to be the US. They're more than happy to use the US as a source of cheap labor for manufacturing goods eventually to be sold to China, the world's new consumer society. Beware the multinational corporation. In fact we ought to consider charging a royalty tax to MNCs in exchange for the privilege of accessing the US consumer market.

one-issue nuts have been the culprits behind a divided (and divided many times over) of a "united" states of america. i hope these people see that on almost every issue, we need to bring people of different views together and leave out the sharp edges!

one-issue supporters and detractors of obama alike, pls don't project your biases on obama, who has to deal with 1,000 issues!

Hey Xinunis of NY. Don't you think it's time we moved past the tired old conservative vs. liberal nonsense that the brilliant folks at the right and left talk radio station have se t up for us to smokescreen the fact that the US government is a wholly owned subsidiary of a few giant corporations and as such it's primary function is to increase their bottom line at the detriment to you and I? Don't you see that everything the last four presidents have done has only allowed these corporate interests to gain a tighter grip on government? W being the most shameless corporate whore with Clinton not that far behind. This is no longer about liberals and conservatives you brainwashed pawn!

We like Obama here in Canada as well and wish we had a charismatic and forward-thinking leader instead of the Mr Potato-head character who currently is getting in the way of Canada's transformation to a 21st century nation. Stephen Harper in shorts with his shirt off? Ewwww...

I think that Obama's presidency proves that America has mostly changed from it's racist ways. I am greatful to see such a positive change in our culture from what it was 140 years or so ago.

I hope however, that the people of the United States elected him on his platform beyond just his race. I believe in the will of the people, but to me it appears that Obama plans to reinvoke FDR in his method for "reviving" the economy, and whilst FDR was praised for bringing the U.S. out of the depression, I have read those who claim that he prolonged it and at the moment think their concerns were credible. Also I think we need to get out of this deficit but it seems that the Keynesian method of massive deficit spending (denounced by Keynes himself) is endorsed by those on the left these days.

I hope I'm mistaken about economics and hope the majority of the people in America who have chosen this man to be our president and this Congress to exist know better than I do what is right for this nation.

Also, as a gun owner, his plans to reinstate the useless and ill-named assault weapons ban disgust me and I fear that this will not be the only infringement of our freedoms during the next four to eight years.

Good luck Obama, and may your actions bring prosperity to America. And may the Congress not regulate my life to death. I know that Obama is a very smart, and capable man. I hope he puts his wits to good use.

Thank you,

Yose - The conservative freedom monger.
