Our healthcare system is in dire straits. With 20% of people without insurance, how can we defend this system???
I have health insurance and I think it's pathetic. I am self employed, so I pay an outrageous amount for measely coverage which I hope to God I won't need because I know the minute I file a claim Healthnet (my carrier) will probably start playing games and denying!!
I can't wait for a major healthcare overhaul...I wish Obama lots of luck and patience to get something through a system that is jammed with insurance, AMA and drug company lobbyists who want to maintain their ridiculous incomes and revenues.

They say if you like your coverage you can keep it. We'll see. Personally I hate my coverage and am hoping I this bill will help. Please, Please, Please.

I have my own private insurance and am also happy with it. Carol from Georgia is right, this is America and we shouldn't have something thrust on us just because this president wants to make his mark. The only thing I can think that would help is to throw out everyone in Washington and start over.

Have the members of Congress read the bill? Where is it posted on the Internet for us to read?

I amhappy with my present healthcare and don't mind paying for it. I do not want to change and I think as an American I should have the chose as to what health care I want. If a healthcarebill is signed I don't I should be forced to change.
