Obama will save over 100 billion in Medicare costs by ripping off 100 billion from Medicare funding. The hell with the seniors on Medicare, they are going to die anyway, so lets speed it up to save money to give away to younger people. There are fewer seniors in this country than younger people, so let's take away the seniors for the common good. While we are at it, Social Security funding is another good source of money to take away from the seniors. If we please more people than the seniors, we can get their votes in future elections. Tough luck for the seniors because they have no one to protect them; they are fair game.

Let’s score this SECRET, KEY and GAME CHANGER first, CBO !
The House leaders reached a deal on Medicare payments: A "Pay for Value" reimbursement system that rewards doctors and hospitals that achieve the best outcomes at the lowest cost.
As a result, The House gained a lot of votes, a lot of people who were withholding support.
The federal Medicare program insures some 44 million elderly and disabled Americans at an annual cost of $450 billion, almost one-fifth of total U.S. health care spending.
Supporters of the agreement say it could save the Medicare System more than $100 billion a year and improve care, that means $1trillian over a decade. (Please visit http://www.kare11.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=820455&catid=391 for detailed infos)
The Times in a July 7 editorial argued “As much as 30 percent of all health-care spending in the U.S. -some $700 billion a year- may be wasted on tests and treatments that do not improve the health of the recipients,” Thus the remaining $239 billions over a decade do not matter.
No one can disagree with this best outcome / evidence-based system, and private insurance, too, will be greatly influenced by this change with the focus on value over volume. !
Dr. Armadio at Mayo clinic says, "If we got rid of that stuff, we save a third of all that we spend and that is 2.5 trillion dollars on health care. A third of that and that is 700 billion dollars a year. That covers a lot of uninsured people."
THANK YOU !

"Come weal or come woe, my status is quo" has gotten us to our present impasse.

Since most elements of the proposed health bills being bantied about will not take effect until 2013, FOUR YEARS FROM NOW.
Sure makes Obama's explanation last night about the "rush" to seem like a big fat lie.
Is it any wonder he is falling in the polls when people discover what a hot air balloon this man is?

As a Medicare recipient I am deeply concerned and horrified by the so called "donut hole" gap in prescription coverage. What is the government doing? At a time when many seniors are knocked down by severe illness to the point where their financial resources are depleted, the Prescription Drug plan cuts out! Many seniors do not have any supplimental coverage because they cannot afford it. No wonder many must eliminate nutrition and even decent housing to pay for the drugs they need. If the proposed government insurance plan disregards the real medical needs of those insured, as does the Part D Prescription Drug Plan, then this will become a national disaster. Health insurance and prescription drug coverage must be equally available for all citizens in all stages of medical need or it becomes a useless program with a very expensive price tag.

Every day there is a new piece of news about Obamacare that has price tags attached to it that is unconsionable.
Everyone will have to pay and more jobs will be lost as a result. Employers will have to make up for the fines and penalties somehow.
Private insurance companies, whether you hate them or love them, will go out of business(with lost jobs) when they can't compete with the government healthcare insurance company that doesn't pay taxes!
Every proposal wants to reduce costs or services to Medicare beneficiaries. With the number of seniors growing each year, it seems that the inevitable direction Obama is taking us is to healthcare RATIONING. This is wrong!
Why is this country spending so much money on ILLEGAL immigrants and proposing to give them insurance when they can't even bother to learn the language like the immigrants did who came to this country via Ellis Island?
Obama should just sit down and shut up. I am sick of his lies and shifting positions and double meanings.

Our leaders in Congress and the Senate had no problem on how to bail out our Banks with tax payers money but when it comes to bailing out the people with health care they are worried that they are going to put the Insurance Business out of work. When are they going to do what is right for the people. They say they are going to fast on this. They have been thinking how to give the people Hospital and Medical Insurance sense President Truman was in office. I do not call this moving to fast. They can come up with a plan on how to give their friends money very fast so they can get a donation to run for office again. To do what is right and give the tax payers a break they worry about the poor Insurance Companys. Maybe both Parties should be replaced in Washington.

You are the typical irresponsible, uncaring, self-centered Republican that has brought this country to the brink of disaster. You are the kind that had no problem when Bush and Cheney gave out no-bid multi-billion dollar contracts to the greedy, corrupt Haliburton, KBR, and Blackwater budddies. You did not complain when Bush went on a spending spree that left us trillions in debt and in deficits. You, like all dumb-ass Republicans had no complaint when corporate American out of greed, hungry for power and money started letting go of millions of hard-working Americans leaving us with no jobs, no pensions, no health care and losing our homes. You stand there with all stupidity and tell us to get a job, you moron. We had jobs, we worked hard and we had health and life insurance but thanks to the uncaring, incompetent politicians in Washington some of us have lost it all or about to lose our benefits so that greedy CEOs can make billions while "Main Street America"
struggles with low-paying jobs, no health care or life insurance. We should charge idiots like you and your ilk and the useless, incompetent, disloyal representatives in Washington with treason. America is in the horrible financial choas we're in because of greed, corruption, and arrogance. You should dig a hole and hide in it until you grow some common sense.

Politicians make themselves look the fools they are since they fool only themselves. The only reason they are holding back, they reason they won't push for health care reform is because they are in the pockets of the Pharma and insurance lobbyist. As our politicians are famous for saying, let's make this very clear, they have had health care reform on the back burner for SIXTEEN YEARS!!! They had no problem creating their "government run" health care plan, but sure are sitting on their hands and thinking with their back ends when it comes to the rest of us. Sixteen years and six months and they still cannot do anything for "Main Street America." I sure don't believe the deceitful lies they are planting about the peril of a 'government run' health care, if it's so bad why have they not rejected their 'government run' socialist health care plan and 'government run and guaratnteed pensions?? Hey guys, what's good for the silly ganders in Washington should be just as good for the rest of us. But I guess since they are on the take from the lobbist they have to fight tooth and nail against health care reform. The Pharma and insurance industry has been raking in multi-billions in subsidies at the expense of the taxpayer and to the detriment of the elderly and disabled. They have spent $200 million to dupe us into believing what a 'bad idea' health care reform is so they can continue to rake in billions of dollars that should be going to Traditional Medicare. Our brainless, incompetent, irresponsible politicians who only have their own selfish interest at heart could give a damn. If they had any real concern they should be worried about the billions being wasted on the corrupt robber barons of the Pharma and insurance industry. Don't the rest of you think after SIXTEEN AND A HALF YEARS they should come up with a sensible plan for all Americans!!! Most of these dimwitted reps have been sitting there for over TWENTY years and still don't know which side their bread is buttered on. Tch, tch and we keep voting the do-nothings in. Come next election I will NOT vote for any incumbent. They are all poster reps for why we should have demanded TERM LIMITS a looong time ago.
