anyone still believe in the seperation of church and state. All I hear is what the bible says when it comes to this. Get real people. IT"S A BOOK. There's a lot of them floating around. ever been to a library. not everything you people read is the truth. Every part of our government these days cannot seem to get this right. I'f someone wants to marry someone of the same sex. WHO CARES, IT'S NONE OF MY BUISNESS, or anyone elses. Let's get it right with this election. Go for it O.

I'm just as tired of the Christian hypocrites pushing their theology into our civil law. 1)Religious institutions that preach politics - whether or not they specifically endorse a candidate - need to pay TAXES! 2)The Christian majority have no business impinging on the rights of the minority in thie country. 3) Christians need to practice their religion like the others - TO THEMSELVES. STOP FORCING YOUR RELIGION ON ME !!!!!!!

Why? Because gay men are guaranteed to abuse boys and lesbians are guaranteed to abuse girls?
The author of this comment shows ignorance and prejudice. Ignorance because he/she seems not to know how many children are abused by an opposite-sex parent, and prejudice because he/she cannot distinguish between homosexuality and pedophilia. I lament this person's right to vote and to have a say over the lives of others.

One thing has always bothered me. We make adoption very difficult. A Gay couple might just as well forget it. But, anyone; a single female, an abusive or indigent couple can just go ahead and have all the babies they want. No problem! Am I missing something here?

We all know that these laws are directly related to the far-right Christian fringe. The few affect the many. I long to live in a country where the Evangelical Christian fringe no longer has power - where religion has no power over law. Religious freedom yes, but separate Church and State. The way it's going, we will live in a full-blown theocracy in less than 10 years. What's more tragic is the fact that these beautiful children are not able to be adopted by people just because of their sexuality. It is a proven fact that Gay men and Lesbians are the least likely to be child molestors and make the absolute best parents! I hope Florida and the rest of these states wakes up to the fact that you don't have to be heterosexual or married to be a great parent. Wake up before it's too late!

It makes one wonder what kind of immoral monsters don't want children to have loving parents. A system that prefers children be the ward of the state rather than being in a loving home is simply degenerate. I certainly have no interest in taking my children to such a state. Lord only knows what other laws will be made to harm children.

You have kids that weren't aborted and now need to be adopted? You have man/man and woman/woman couples able and willing to do that? You have third-party church folks wanting the states to prohibit that? Makes no sense, folks.
