First of all, you spelled "marriage" incorrectly so don't be telling others how to spell. Second of all, homosexual relationships are bonds of love. Why in hell would anyone want to condemn a relationship in which two people love each other? Because some book tells you not to? The Bible is not the word of God. It was composed by primitive peoples who encouraged readers to do other moral thinks like selling their daughters into slavery and stoning their rebellious sons to death. Wow, what a great moral code! But you have every right to believe it. Just as two human beings have every right to love freely. Why should some unrelated third party butt in and say "You are all immoral homosexuals!" Rather than learning to tolerate and respect others, you are isolating them! What is wrong with you! Why do you resort to these sociopathic views? Two people are in love! How could that possibly harm or affect you? Oh wow, so maybe you see two men kissing in public. Oh no, now your children saw that and their innocence is lost! Give me a break! Let me tell you something. If your children are naturally straight, then seeing two men kiss won't put them under this stupid "gay spell" you believe in. Keep your religion to yourself. I could see restraining liberties if they were potentially harmful (like gun rights), but we're talking about two human beings in love. P.S. I'm straight and yet i support gays and have gay friends! Some of us believe in equality, diversity, and true freedom.

I think it is completely ridiculous for someone to think same-sex marriage is wrong. For that matter, I think is is completely ridiculous for someone to think homosexuality is wrong. First of all, I know for a fact that being gay is not a personal decision, in most cases at least. If I could choose to be different than I am, I would. Being critized for who I am is not fun at all. Secondly, Christian people who are against gays make me so upset. Seriously, everything Christianity stands for is about accepting everyone and trying to find the good in people. It is a little hypocritical to say you stand for good in the world and being kind to others, while at the same time you reject those who are different than you. I just don't think God would create people so they would grow up to be hated. I don't think that's fair at all. I am a Christian person, and believe in constantly bettering the world and myself. I know that I am not a perfect person. I've never claimed to be that way. I'm just out there trying to find myself. Trying to find a way past the discrimination that prevents me from living my life. I don't think people realize how painful it is to try and fit in. To try and hide what you know you are. It's terrible. I wish people could see this. It makes me so happy to see that California made it possible for same sex couples to get married. That's so great. I really hope the rest of the world can get to that point. It would erase so much turmoil and hatred in this world.

NO TO GAY MARRIGES
As most of the people I stand for a true meaning of marriege. 1 man and 1 women!!!!!! It is bad enought that some children have to deal with same sex parents, which plays with their mentality, It is just crazy that my kids have to hear from other Kids that they have 2 moms or 2 dads. How should I explain that to my child when Bible is totally against it.
And another issue is that now all those gay couples will want a priest to marry them, that is absurd, A man of God, A real man of God, will not and should not be marrying someone, or giving Gods blessing, when God IS NOT OK with it! and whats gonna happen now? those gay people, who´ll be turned down by priests to marry them, will take them to court? The priest will have to pay a fine for standing for his/ her believes? This is unexceptible...
NO NO NO NO , AND AGAIN NO TO GAY MARRIGES.
You are a disgrace yourself, why don't you teach your children of respect and love and understanding and acceptance of others. It is not your place to judge isn't that God's place, not yours. Also, learn how to spell, you are a outright moron to be speaking of such just causes when you cannot even articulate what you are saying. You should be educated, and then open your mouth.

Today July 6 2008 california is burning,,,,and many people are asking themselves what is going on,,,,,all i can say is remember sodom and gomorrah....
Little after the law for same mariage was passed all those fires started to burn and i believe GOD has allowed for those responsible in charge to re-think their decision and ban same same marriages before california comes under greater judment.....Those that mock GOD and think that will get away with crime,,,,well look at california now!!!!!

I am not gay and am not able to identify with this lifestyle - BUT, marriage laws are religiously based - and I thought we are not supposed to have a government ruled by religion. I think it is absolutely nobody's business whether anybody chooses any arrangement legalizing their partnership. This seems to me to be fear based.
Heterosexuals should take responsibility for undermining their own marriages and not try to place the blame on gays. This almost seems like a prurient invasion into the private sex lives of our citizens. What earthly right does the public have to have a vote to determine what anybody does with their private lives? If people don't believe in gay marriage they should not enter into one......Stay out of people's bedrooms!
