There is new info out on Saddam in additional FBI documents that Meeks is reporting on. Hopefully those can be made public.

Honestly....Who cares? Even if he was still rotting in a jail somewhere, who would give a flip? I imagine some misguided naive idiot from the ACLU might or one of their like minded sheep would. Even though he was not one of the ideological homicidal maniacs that we now face in the war on terror (that the left believes is a farce and does not exist) he was still a homicidal maniac.

I would never suggest Saddam wasn't a bad guy, but this article comes off very one sided. Is this suppose to be news or an editorial?

I have no doubt that he heard the sounds of torture, especially when he was in that twilight between waking and sleeping...

They were the tortured cries of HIS torture/murder victims come to haunt him.

Poor dear.

Was he placed, feet first, into a branch shredder?

Thrown, with handcuffs behind his back, off of buildings?

Raped, in front of his own family?

Sorry, I really can't drum up sympathy for the monster

Well......... he's dead, so who cares!

When you have a mad dog in your possession and you decline to kill it, rather you decide to discover what makes it tick so that you may understand the random savage actions it has taken within and without the pack, you take your time and lead the mad dog to believe that even though it is without it's peers there are those who will empathize with you (just like obama's next supreme court appointee).

No murdering tyrant should ever expect calm seas when in the deep dark dungeons of a righteous and victorious aggressor.

All Abooooard!! The roller coaster is leaving the station, for good.

Despots of the world..........

Have no fear, Obama is here!

My Lord, if this doesn't take the cake! If ONLY we tortured him, I know I would've felt better with that knowledge. Instead, he was only hanged. Personally, I would've paid for the chance to force his left arm into a wood chipper up to his bicep, then his right arm, then his left leg up to his pelvic bone, then his right leg, and then drop him in head first...

He had no current information on organization or operations - His regime was gone and he would be the last one to know about insurgent efforts.

This did not apply to KSM and Zubudayah, and we broke not only important plans but punctured the structure of Al Qaeda.

So at our leisure, we would let him tell his "secrets", that dozens of erstwhile aides had already spilled.

No need to torture, even though he was the worst of war criminals.

known about the negatives of such horrors by visiting the torture chambers of his own regime when was still in power. He could have and should have then ended them and set the model of civilization WITHOUT radical Islam for the entire middle east. But he didn't. What a waste. He had the power and the mechanism,---and at one time even the support of America. Evil? Yes. And a dunce to boot. A dumb egomaniac.
