Jimmy Carter was the worst president of my life-time (49 years), with no one close yet. You had to live through that era to appreciate how terrible he was as a leader. He was so bad it is hard to comprehend how a man with a supposed high I.Q. could do so many idiotic things. No common sense, I guess. Reagan was like a breath of fresh air. W. Bush is thoroughly criticized now, but non-partisan historians in the future will have to cut him some slack for preventing any further terrorist attacks after 9/11. He faced some of the biggest problems in the history of our country, many of which were unique. In four years, lets see if we can say Obama kept us safe.

It was not the Prsidents decision to take out the pirates, it was the captains decision. I love the fact that he is taking credit for it. He told the captain to stand down and not to fire on the pirates. Wonder if he has apoligized to Somalia yet and offered them compensation for their loss of the 3 men. Wouldn't surprise me if he did just that. He is the most enept President I have ever seen. His agenda scares me, I wish people would investigate his background and how he came into power, and where the money came from. Wake up people, before its too late.

George W. Bush should have made the list. The torture memos, violation of civil liberties and invasion of a sovereign country through lies and distortions ? The historians are afraid of the truth.

I have to agree that Jimmy Carter belongs in the Top 5 of the Worst Presidents ever. The Domestic Policies are one thing, but the Debacle in the Desert trying to free the hostages has got to take the cake. How do you think the recent Pirate scene would have gone down if Jimmy Carter were in Charge? Or our Response to 9/11? At Least George W. Bush and Barack Obama both had the guts to take out the enemy.

Many can and will argue about the decision to go into IRAQ...However NO ONE can argue that George W. didn't keep us safe after 9/11.

Time will tell about President Obama. I don't agree with most of what he does, but his decision to take out the pirates was Spot on!

Jimmy Carter definately belongs on list. Totally incompetant to get anything done right.

Double digit inflation & interest rates. Fumbled hostage rescue mission because of debillitating militsry preparedness. I consider him worst president in my 73 years.
