Best and worst presidents of all time aside, I think that those who make a career out of posting anti-government foment, regardless of who is president are as dangerous to this nation as any fedayeen.

Obama takes the prize on this one. He forced Obamacare through even though most Americans did not want it. My hope is that it can't work. Everyone knows that you cannot compel people to buy insurance when the pool includes people that can't afford to pay anything and people already burdened will have to pay for those who cannot pay. Also, the quality of the healthcare will be compromised in order to make it available to 20 million more people. As you know it's been postponed to 2015 because it can't get started up. I only hope it's a total failure and people demand that it be rescinded.

I think everybody who posted is wrong. Obviously John Travolta was the worst U.S. president of all time. Just as obvious is that Martin Sheen was the greatest president of all time.

My criteria for "worst" would be "most responsible for collapse of country."
With that as a basis, its easy.
1 - LBJ (Medicare/aid)
2 - FDR (SS)
3 - Obama (Obamacare)

This is a BIG reason I don't and never will subscribe to USNWR; The staff is biased and retarded! Why weren't Bill Clinton, Obama, and Jimmy Carter even IN the top ten worst, more deservedly 1, 2 & 3?

US News did not take this seriously. For example to not have GW Bush included is just not possible. He took us into a war under false a pretense regardless of believing it or not causing us lives, status, and treasure while causing Iran to become a dangerous menace. He over saw the financial collapse by allowing and in fact encouraging a hands off attitude, Growth was stagnant. He pushed for the huge and needless prescription drug law. He took his eye off the ball in the Afghanistan was and allowed the masterminds of 9-11 to increase the power of terror. His expansion of privatizing the work of the military will eventually prove to be one of the biggest wastes of government monies still unaccounted for. He decisions on personnel selection were proof of his lack of insight n which week or unqualified person were given great powers including his choices for leading the UN, Iraq, his VP and choices for the supreme court. To say his failures were less harm in the short or long run of the majority of the Presidents on your WORST list is an insult to them! C'mon either have the guts to do it correctly or don't do it.

Who in their right mind would vote George Washington as the worst president? Either somone's playing a joke, not reading their history books, or misread the question as one of the best.

George Washington was not the worst president. In fact many, many history book and historians say he was "Among the Best" At he set the tables for independence and lead us away from foreign government. This current government seems to want to just help hand us over to the folks of china and the Middle East.
