If you can't appreciate your leaders, nobody and no country will. As much as they have their errors, they also have contributed greatly to the country's existance: so to say, imagine the USA without a president for a day or for those days that their office is judged so hushly. I congratulate President Obama upon all his achievements, Former President Bush for the eight years, if he was such a bad leader why did you allow him back in office, so is Bill Cliton, he led for 2 terms. The voters should check themselves before complaining, if at all you didn't vote for the person in office, then what have you done so far to better the situation as an individual. as we all know democracy is for & by the people, we should participate in the betterment of our nations blaming the leader doesn't solve anything and it will never be a solution.

WHY DO PEOPLE THINK ONE MAN IS GOING TO LED YOU OUT OF THE WILDERNESS? DO US A FAVOR AND FIND A ROCK TO GO LIVE UNDER SO THE REST OF US CAPABLE CITIZENS CAN TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR OUR LIVES AND OUR COUNTRY. I KNOW HISTORY ESCAPES US SINCE FDR IS THE ONE WHO GAVE US THE 100 DAY MARKER, OBAMA IS IN KINDERGARTEN BY COMPARISON. OH YEAH, QUITE A FEW AFTER FDR HAS A RECORD THAT EVEN TASERED JOURNALISTS CAN NOT MAKE GO AWAY.
YOU ARE PROBABLY THE SAME PEOPLE WHO CHARGED CREDIT FOR WHAT YOU CAN’T PAY; REFUSE TO SACRIFICE TO GET WHAT NEEDED TO BE WORKED FOR; CHOOSE CHILDHOOD PREGNANCY OVER EDUCATION; DID NOT FORCE YOUR KIDS TO DO THEIR HOMEWORK AND BLAME THE TEACHERS AND THINK THE REST OF US SHOULD TAKE CARE OF YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO LAZY TO GET A JOB.

CLINTON PASSED $1.5 TRILLION BUDGET; TARGETED HEALTHCARE FOR ALL; HAD TO DEAL WITH UNRULY RUSSIANS AND THE SOVIET UNION. HE GOT 2B IN AID TO RUSSIA, PUT THROUGH THE FMLA ACT; HE HAD AN ECONOMIC CRISIS ON HIS HANDS; WAR IN BOSNIA; PASSED THE GAYS IN MILITARY ACT; DISMANTLED THE ROE VS. WADE RESTRICTIONS AND CONGRESS WAS GRIDLOCKED AND FOUGHT HIM (ALL DEMOCRATS) WHILE OVERCOMING NOT GETTING THE MAJORITY OF THE POPULAR VOTE (PEROT GOT 19%)
FORD – HAD A HUGE ENERGY CRISIS ON HIS HAND; GOT CRITICISM FOR PARDONING NIXON; FACED THE WORSE ECONOMY SINCE THE GREAT DEPRESSION; RISING INFLATION, INCREASING RECESSION AND WOULD LATER HAVE 2 ASSASSINATION ATTEMPTS ON HIS LIFE. OH YEAH, HE WASN’T ELECTED.
I TRULY HOPE THIS IS NOT THE LEGACY THAT YOU PASS ONTO OUR YOUTH; SEEK THE TRUTH, NOT WHAT THE JOURNALISTS WRITE FOR YOU TO BELIEVE.
MOST COUNTRIES ARE LAUGHING AT US BECAUSE THEY KNOW OUR CONSTITUTION BETTER THAN US AND THIS COUNTRY’S AND THE WORLD’S HISTORY. DID I SAY 2 BAD WORDS? HISTORY? CONSTITUTION??
YES. USE THAT AS A LEGACY AND TEACH THE YOUNG FOLK WHAT THIS COUNTRY WAS BUILT ON. THE CURRENT MEMBERS OF CONGRESS AND THE ADMINSTRATION DO NOT KNOW IT.
BTW, THE SAME PEOPLE WHO PUT THIS COUNTRY IN A TAIL SPIN STILL HAVE THEIR JOBS; SOME IN DIFFERENT POSITIONS (THAT WOULD BE THE SENATOR WHO GOT PROMOTED) IF YOU KNEW THE CONSTITUTION, YOU WOULD KNOW THAT.
WHY DO I BOTHER?? FOLKS WANT TO LIVE IN IGNORANCE, THEN LET THEM BE BLISSFUL; JUST DON’T TAKE THE REST OF US WITH YOU. LEARN YOUR HISTORY BEFORE YOU DEBATE WITH THOSE OF US WHO CHOOSE TO THINK FOR OURSELVES.

I FEEL THAT THIS PRESIDENT IS ACTING LIKE HE IS A MOVIE STAR OR SOMETHING. I Do not remember any president who loved to show there face on t.v. as much as Obama and his wife and children.
Also to me whan they took off in god we trust on money that was a big kick in our faces. We the people of the United States all have our own voting rights and all should use that right or learn to shut up with there mouths. I grew up in a family of 6 children and all of us turned out fine. We were raised to respect our elders and be kind and treat people the way that you would like to be treated.We all are in tough times right now and all should do our very best at the short lives that we all have in this world.Give the president a very fair chance at his job and accept what he cannot repair. The last one in office did a terrible job and hurt all our pockets too. Bush #2 was the worst president that I can remember and hurt all of us bad! Just keep our heads up high and pray that things will get better. Bonnie

HISTORY IS BEING MADE DESPITE THE FACT THAT HE MR. PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA INHERITED THIS COUNTRY'S FINANCIAL UNFORTUNATE SITUATION AS I WOULD LIKE TO PUT IT.
IS JUDGING HIM RACIAL , WHO KNOWS ?? ARE WE EVER GOING TO SIT BACK AND TAKE A LOOK AT OURSELVES AS A COUNTRY.
IF WE SO WANT TO LEAD OR BE THE LEADER OF THE WORLD DO WE NOT KNOW THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE MORE EDUCATED THAN US IN MANY THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES.

WHEN AMERICA ALL HAIL, EVERY NATION SMILES BECAUSE SHE HAS BEEN A NATION THAT GIVES BIRTH TO MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO PEOPLE OF NOWHERE TO PEOPLE OF SOMEWHERE. HOWEVER, SHE VOTED A DUMPED PRESIDENT FOR EIGHT YEARS THAT LED THIS NATION INTO DIFFICULT AND HARD WAYS OF LIFE. ONCE AGAIN, AMERICA IS TRYING TO REGAIN HER GLORY AND SHE HAS VOTED A PRESIDENT WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BRING THIS NATION BACK ON TRACK AND WITH THE ENTIRE WORLD. WILL THE GOD OF PEACE LEADS BARACK OBAMA THRU THIS GREAT TIME, AND MAKE THE ENTIRE WORLD ONE UNDER HIS LEADERSHIP. THE WORLD IS NOT AMERICA. THE WORLD IS EVERYONE. Thank God we finally have a president who has empathy with all who struggle.I grew up in a large poor family.We never went hungry.My precious father had the intelligence to raise all of us to be peaceful,care about others and love our country.When President Bush became President I watched him as he smirked,grinned and acted ignorant.My father never learned to read or write but when you talked to him you knew he cared and would work hard to give us a home.President Obama may be black but when I watched him all during his campaign I knew he had a heart like my daddy.I thank God He gave us not just a smart man but one who can bring our country back to what My daddy always knew it was.When the president speaks it gives me hope for a better America once again.We love and respect you President Obama and your wonderful family. It is not a surprise that all the federal government can come to, is to tax 90% of bonuses, when they are in the position to pass laws that can garnish wages including assets and allow these CEOs to bail out their own companies if they want to remain in business.
The federal government knows that, the rich and powerful in this country do not have to pay tax and are never held accountable. AIG donated money to the powerhouse currently in Washington and the president is in the second place, receiving over $100, 00.00 donations from AIG, why do you think there will be any laws enacted to protect the taxpayers’ money.
Our problem in this country is that we have been brainwashed to believe every country is bad but ours and that our political system is the best in the world that we are not able to see the REAL corruption in American politics, that if a candidate raises a lot of money we never question where the money came from. Instead, we see this as a reason to elect the person to office. Should not this tell us that someone with so much money would definitely answer to those individuals who provided the money to put him/her in office over the American people?
Obama is not different from all those other politicians, in fact he is worse because he is using his race to his advantage. Obama is as crafty as Bush and he knows that the media and others will not want to expose him because they do not want to be perceived as racists. He used this during his campaign and it worked for him. Therefore, no one questioned his lies and his community activism.
Any one, who denounces his pastor of twenty years, is an opportunist. This should tell us something about his character.

I believe mr. Obama is a stupid puppy by any means he has a large list of priorities to deal with. I say give the president a chance to get this country back on track, i don't agree with the notion Obama and i quote:" During the election, all the Obama campaign showed was that Obama has great talent for back room intrigue and manipulation, but he lacks the front room leadership skills that are immensely important for running this sprawling great country at this time." like many notion and baseless accusations is false and unproven. For example many people think George W. is dummer than a rock contrary to belief he isn't but yet he lead this country to ruin in eight years.

While Obama may be relatively inexperienced, he is far from "a clueless Labrador puppy who wanders through traffic while cars around". And, certainly no other president has had quite the mess Obama has had to deal with immediately upon taking office. Not only is he stuck with the problem of the faltering economy and America's disasterous national image, but he is also stuck trying to undo virtually every program proposed by the mentally-deficient Bush while attempting to move this country towards a civilized existence. The US is so far behind the rest of the post-industrial world that it is laughable to still see so many idiots waving the "We're No. 1!" foam finger.
In addition, Obama is intelligent, a quality I much prefer over "country boy grit".
Obama is an intellectual, a moralist, and a proponent of equality. He is a welcome change from the evangelical idiocy of George W. Bush and he may just be exactly what this country needs to drag it kicking and screaming into the modern world. Under his leadership, we could possibly join the ranks of other countries that actually provide for their citizens instead of using "trickle down" politics. We could do things that help everyone, not just the top 1%. We could even, daresay, provide equality for our sexual minorities rather than clinging to the bronze-age ideology that has been proven false time and time again. Intelligence might just win in America after all.
