[asided from those events, what did Kennedy actually do ?]

The space program, the Peace Corp, Civil Rights and the first Nuclear Test Ban Treaty. Less than three years.

[G W Bush will be remembered as a top President when the bitterness and nastiness about his terms are at rest.]

Yes, two wars he couldn't finish, a crashed economy, the biggest attack on America in history, the destruction of an American city, and the first President since Hoover to leave office with the market lower than when he took ALWAYS makes one look good.

Goodness knows what would have happened if he did a BAD job,

ignatz of NY 2:43PM May 22, 2012

Polk should absolutely be in the top ten. Certainly higher than Wilson.

I think Bill clinton was the best president. The only time we had a balance budget.

George W. Bush the worst borrow all the money from China and went into a war that was wrong and very costly with money lives.Reagan was not a good president.

lastly, if you did not fight in any of the wars, you are not allowed to talk about them being a waste. you have not seen what really happens over in those countries and how much we help people. yea lets let muslim countries continue to beat women, stone them for losing virginity make them be fully covered in public, not get educated. many of you easily forget all the good and focus on the bad

G W Bush will be remembered as a top President when the bitterness and nastiness about his terms are at rest. He was, next to Lincoln, one of our most humble and selfless servants. He took full responsibility for his actions and choices. He did not blame others and was most gracious under fire. It says a lot more about the media and their hatefulness than his bold leadership. We were in a recession when he took office and he gets no credit for all the progress and growth we all enjoyed.

Reagan would top my list!He did more to harm the middle class than any other single President in U.S. History! Who started deficit spending that continues today? Regan! Ths debt is killing this country!

Bush's presidency was gawd-awful.

He let Cheney/Rumsfeld/Wolfowitz run wild and con the nation into a disastrous war in Iraq, which cost the US $ trillions and thousands of lives while it consumed the administration as a Washington/wall-street-created bubble crashed the economy and Congress spent like never before.

He also hugely expanded medicare spending with his prescription drug freebie and implemented a failed elementary education policy policy in No Child Left Behind.

Bush and Co. confused the nation as to what conservatism is because Bush himself was a confused lightweight.

He also broke with the wise and successful diplomatic and foreign policy traditions of Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford, Reagan and his father, alienating our allies and weakening our alliances with his war-mongering and my-way-or-the-highway over-reaction to and exploitation of 9/11.

Bush gave us Obama and in the area of foreign policy, Obama/Hillary have so far proven to be an improvement.

The presidency of Bush 43 was a disaster.

Of course George W Bush was the worst president ever. The Democrat Media said so, thus it must be true. The Republicans started to turn on him to protec themselves from the media, and the Democrat Congress, while they weren't busy running the economy into the ground after 2006, made sure the everyone knew Bush was a Nazi and a Plantation Owner and probably killed kittens for fun (and gay, atheist kittens at that). And since Bush never went out of his way to deride, divide and talk down to the public and put them in their place as the current president does regularly, the public started to believe what the Democrats and the media force-fed them for eight years. So is it any wonder Bush was terrible? If the Democrats and media say something enough it must be true, because they only care about the People.

The header is misleading. It should read : LIBERAL HISTORIANS Rank George W. Bush Among Worst Presidents. But then, THAT would be honest.
