While taking a walk in a Louisville neighborhood, I stumbled upon his grave in someone's front yard. Yep! How would you like to buy a house with a dead president on your property?

i hate him

The Whig contingent had some good ideas. Unfortunately, it was probably the most disorganized political party in history. If only one of their presidents had actually served a full four-year term they might have gotten something accomplished. But alas, none did.

Zachary Taylor was probably going to fight slavery...

He died and it wasn't his fault.

So this is wrong.

Someone needs to adjust the methodology of the online poll, from readers. I just checked it, after voting, and George Washington - according to U.S. News informal poll onine - came in worst at 69.92%. Sounds like a teenage prank !

I have an opinion about who is the very worst president: http://www.jpattitude.com/110221.php

Zachary Taylor

Good: Clayton-Bulwer Treaty, stopped Narciso López's filibustering expedition to Cuba, opposed Compromise of 1850

Bad: Nothing

I think it's extremely unfair to call Taylor forgettable. He was stricken with a disease that resulted in him dying in office. He actually opposed the compromise in 1850 and didn't want slavery to expand- he had the potential to be a great president but unfortunately he died before he could save the union 10 years before the civil war.

A president that doesn't practice politics too much, lives and dresses simply, sounds like the perfect man for today.

cruddycat of PA 2:26PM January 14, 2011

Hey, So finally what made him to the Worst President's List ???
